Q: I have a Pom Yorkie mix who is afraid of everything, is this leash loud when it retracts?

I would not recommend this leash for animals oversensitive to sounds. The first time I used mine alongside my other leash (I have 2 dogs), I was hearing a weird sound. I realized it was the new leash. The Flexi brand leash is absolutely silent. This one, not so much. It makes a "ssssh" sound when it retracts and releases. Again, I don't know if the Flexi is the quietest, but it is definitely quieter than this.

If you had it for 6 weeks no offence but thats your problem now, the item does not have an unlimited warrety buy another one
