I used to use the multi blade fusion shaver but moved to safety razor to save money. As close as the safety razor is, it can be inconvenient at times. I bought a battery operated philips shaver at the airport when I forgot to pack a razer which performed adequately - quick to use and remove visible stubble but not very close. I thought I'd try a major brand electric and was potentially thinking of spending up to £200. I came across this razor and saw the glowing reviews. I couldn't imagine that a shaver for this price could perform as good as the much more expensive big brand ones. This shaver is very light in the hand ( a bit heavier would be nice) but is built well and more importantly, gives a very close shave. If you are prepared to go over the same piece of skin numerous times, it will give a blade like shave. The only problem with this is that your face may end up being a bit sore

I already have a working Braun foil shaver, but I couldn't stand the terrible noise it makes any longer (it's going into my recycling bin), so I bought this one as a replacement. At under £15 (current Amazon offer price), I wonder why anyone would want to buy anything different: l have only just reveived it, so can only give initial impressions. First and foremost, it's refreshingly quiet - and it gives me a very comfortable, smooth shave. In view of the performance and how inexpensive it is (I'd still recommend it at its full price), 'what's not to like'?

Shaver ok, does the job but ergonomically wrong as when you hold it to shave your hand occasionally switches the razor off. Needs better design.

All electric shavers aren't great as with them all you have to repeatedly go over your beard to get a satisfactory result. This shaver however is the best I've ever had. it beats hands down my previous shavers that cost a lot more, my first was around £30 and I did not know if it was good or bad as I had nothing to compare it with but felt that there was room for improvement so spent £80 on what I thought would be an upgrade. The shaver wasn't worth the extra cost and stopped working after a few years. I was thinking of paying even more for my next razer but opted to go the opposite direction and purchased this for only £15 and what a pleasant surprise. It is the only electric razer that trims the hairs on my neck that grow in peculiar directions and after a few days had to be cleaned up with a blade. The razer is incredible value for money (it costs around the same price for the replacement blades on my £80 razer), works far better than the more expensive ones, it holds its charge well and as a handy USB charging port. Shaving good for a quick shave not ultra smooth for me, my facial hair is tough!The main problem is I keep it in a soft fabric bag with blade protector in place When removing from the bag I find the position of the on off button too central on the grip resulting in premature starting before I want it to.

Got this for my son as his other choice for his first shave. He found it easy to use and the hold comfortable. It comes with a cleaning brush. Amazing quality at a super cheap price

This shaver gives a closer cut than any other I've tried and is amazingly good value.

This razor is satisfactory for the price, a bit batter than I thought it would be for the price.
