This might seem like an odd review since we're not coffee drinkers. We like to make sure our cat's kibble is kept sealed and fresh in a nice airlocked glass jar for easy cleaning and keeping them fresh / bacteria-free. But we were having trouble finding the best spoon size to fit in the jar, and we also measure servings by tablespoon according to kitty's diet. These scoops fit the bill perfectly! Quick easy clean, fits in the jar, and no plastics involved (as plastic breeds bacteria in many foods, not just human ones), and we love the heft / weight of the scoops. Only one wish - we wish there was a hole in the handle and a way to hang it from the inside of the jar, since things get pretty loud when you use a heavy metal scoop in a glass container when the contents get low to the bottom. If you have a cat then you know what it's like at 5:00am ;-)Excellent product! 4-paws up!

sturdy and heavy, good quality.

I ordered this scoop for freeze dried dog food. It is the perfect size for consistent meal prep amounts. It is very sturdy and easy to clean.

This is a high-quality product. So I would give it 5-stars on that. But regarding functionality, it just wasn't for me. I realized the handle was short, but I didn't realize how inconvenient this would make scooping coffee out of my bin. The handle would get buried in the grinds, so my fingers would get coffee on them everytime I scooped some out. (If you are scooping the bottom of a coffee bag, your wrists would get coffee on them too.) I just don't see any advantage of having such a short handle.I have an old Mr. Coffee plastic scoop (cube shaped). The handle is a big longer than 5 inches, which allows it to lean up against the side of the bin--and not get buried. Perfect! But it doesn't seem like they sell these anymore, but the next scoop I buy will have to fit this handle length requirement. And I will get a 2 tablespoon one, which I think is what the Mr. Coffee scoop is.I also got a similar Coletti brand scoop and had the same problem--too short. Although the Coletti isn't as shiny as this CoaGu (this one is prettier), the Coletti seemed to get a more even scoop. That is, with this CoaGu, the coffee would start going onto the handle due to the design and not stay in the scoop.

Perfect for what we wanted (a small, non-plastic scoop). Use it for measuring powder. Solid and sturdy, should last many years.
