This was easy to fit,and great for dining room, which we needed more light good price too.

It looked like such an easy job until I realised there was so little working room for the wiring.The screws for connecting the word just spins, meaning the wires aren't secure in place

Im not unimpressed by this light, but I think the reviews made me expect more. Its pretty flimsy, the cable connection block is really awkward to access (especially if your ceiling wires are short), there is no spare choc block so you might need additional wiring to install, and the fitting looks a bit rubbish if you change bulbs (when one dies) as they are so visible.That said it is a ~£20-25 light fitting, so if you are expecting that, then its not bad

Well unfortunately I had to get an electrician in to put this light up because of the state of the wires hanging down from the tube I took down. Only the 2nd time I've had to do this since I moved to this house in 1998. It does look good but the recommended bulbs that came free with this item are just not bright enough. I'm of the opinion that mood lighting is not good in a kitchen, you really need it bright just to ensure you are using the right knife & not about to chop the top of your finger off. I'm going to buying some new bulbs for it & when I finally get my kitchen redecorated, I will be buying something similar but much bigger.

The simple, clean lines of this light fitting attracted my attention immediately when I was searching for a replacement for a very old fashioned and inefficient two-lamp fitting. The scope for adjusting the beams from the 4 lamps is considerable and very easy to operate should that be necessary. The electrician who fitted it for me was also impressed and he completed the job with no trouble and in only a few minutes.

it was used to light up a room when it was dark

Bought for my small kitchen if you did have a large kitchen I dont think this would be the best light for you. Great in my smaller sized kitchen and gives enough light. Easy to install, great design as you can move the lights to face two directions which is good. Doesnt look very strong/sturdy but it is and does the job. Good price looks nice up.
