Fit size true to size
The fit seems to be true to size. They hurt like heck when you first break them in. After break in period they are very comfortable.

Color vs picture are not accurate!!
I ordered the color “black oiled leather” which is pictured as a dark brown with bronze buckles. I received black birks with silver buckles. I was debating between brown and black when purchasing the shoes so ended up keeping them, but would have been very disappointed if I had my heart set on brown. Other than the color mishap, the shoes are exactly what I wanted and expected.

Wrong size chart and paid return
The size chart makes no sense. I asked a question what size should I but, I got an answer that didn't make sense to me but I bough a pair, still wondering. As I suspected it was more than two sizes too big. They list EU 7-7.5 and US/Canada 37-38 (9.5") as size 40! and have four sizes 5.5 with no explanation what is what. And I had to pay $18 to return the package. I am giving it three starts only because the shoes are great, like all Birkenstocks. The service and info on their page deserves one star. I lost $18 on this sorry deal and have no shoes.

Too narrow
I am a big Birkenstock fan and the contoured footbed is perfect for my rather deformed feet. However this is the second time I have ordered these sandals (from different sellers), believing them to be the wider fit only to be sent a narrow fit. Disappointing.
