Noisy and just “okay”
I purchased this and we used it for about 5 nights and sent it back. I can’t say it was a bad or horrible purifier, it was just too loud for us. It sounded like there was a small wind tunnel in our hallway where we had placed it on our top floor where the bedrooms are. It cleaned the air very well though and it seemed to do it pretty quickly. It was just too loud for us. We have other purifiers that yes, of course you can hear them, but not to the point of annoyance or to the point that it makes the dogs bark and the baby won’t go to sleep. We even tried sleep mode and it’s not really much of a sleep mode to be honest. It was still just as noisy. I kept pressing the button wondering why it wasn’t going into sleep mode and my husband tells me it is lol. That’s how loud the sleep mode is. I can vacuum and our baby and dogs won’t wake up or be bothered. But this purifier was a bit loud and not as sleek as I wanted it to be. But we did give it a shot and just agreed we couldn’t deal with the noise. If wind type noises don’t really bother you while you’re sleeping or trying to go to sleep or if it’s going to be somewhere that it won’t really bother you with its noise I’d say this a pretty good solid purifier. If you don’t like whooshing, wind tunnel noises then I’d say pass on this one especially with the sleep mode option. Did help our allergies though, but didn’t do much for dust and pet dander.
