As you can see by the pics my new puppy didn't want to stand or stay still while I took his picture but he was surprisingly still and calm for his clipping. he allowed me to work everywhere without much fuss. I've had a lot of clippers in the past but they've always been so loud they frighten the puppies or new to being clipped. This set doesn't do that. He even allowed me to shave around his eyes and in his nether parts. It was only his second time being clipped. Of course I took a lot of time and I made it a game and gave him bites of soft food for treats every so often. That helps. make it a game and give them treats and clip then rub them all over like you do when you dry them off with a towel. Then clip some more. and the treats. works great. I recommend highly! I hope they last for a while, but at only $25 it might be worth it to buy another set as spare.

I received these clippers and was so excited to be able to trim my dogs hair. He is not to thrilled about going to the groomers and the comfort of home would be great for him. I received my first pair of clippers and spent the tome washing and drying my dog. Went to clip his hair and the clippers wouldn’t turn on. I realized then clippers were defective so sent them back for a new pair. Waited another 2 days and the new clippers arrived. This time they turned on but wouldn’t even trim his hair without me stopping and cleaning them to start all over again. They do not clip as expected and I was very frustrated that I waisted the time getting these. Now sending my second pair back and still no groomed puppy.The clippers have a plastic piece by the cutters which kept getting filled with hair and made it impossible to keep clipping. Very cheaply made.

Worked great for a few months then blade head fell off and won't stay on. Every time I try to start trimming it pops out sideways and razor burns my pup. She does not have thick fur and I did not use it harshly or inappropriately. It has cheap plastic parts that don't hold. I should note that when I received it the head was off but it popped back on easily so I didn't complain. Now I try to find contact for seller and nothing. They also are out of stock. Makes me think another business that changes their name after some bad reviews. Wasted my money.

I bought because of all the reviews. After someone else mentioned that they are from the same person, I went back and noticed the same 5 people left a lot of multiple reviews. While all the little accessories and everything are nice, the razor doesnt cut at all. When it does decide to cut, I have to remove the guard every 5 seconds to clear it of hair. Took me 3 hours to shave my 15lb poodle and it came out horrible. Will be returning.

I have used this on both of my dogs. I do not find it to be exceptionally l quiet. The scissors are not good at all. I will have to replace them as they only survived one cut (slightly). Also, the clippers sometimes pull hair more then they cut it. So, you might have to trim the hair before you clip it. That being said, the battery life is fantastic. They do a clean job when they go through the hair. There are also many items within the set. Unfortunately, a few of those items like the scissors and nail cutter you will likely want to replace with a better functioning set.

I have previously purchased Wahl and other well-known brands of dog groomers, but this one is by far the best I have ever used. (The PetExpert Cordless Dog Grooming Clippers Kit, Rechargeable Quiet Pet Hair Clippers/Trimmer with 10 Dog Grooming Tools for Dogs, Cats and Other Pets is what I am reviewing, just to be clear) The adjustable blade is perfect for my cockapoo's fur, which is thick as a poodle with longer ends like a cocker. This was my 1st time using this groomer, so I hope the plastic piece on the blade head holds up well for repeated use. 5 stars for not getting hot and keeping its charge on her fur!!!

The PetExpert customer service is like getting good old fashion service..they responded to my email and answered my question the next day..very friendly and accommadating...the clippers are awesome!! I have 2 toy poodles and they dont mind these clippers at all. They are very quiet and are a nice size in your hand..not big and heavy like some clippers..im new at this grooming thing and these clippers make it easy for me and my dogs!

We found an old Chow in our yard. He was matted and panting from thick black fur. I have been clipping his fur for the past 5 months. The clipper is very quiet and he is very calm while I shaving him. He seems to know he will be much cooler when I'm finished. It is rechargeable and the batter lasts throughout our sessions.
