Not a car seat. It's a booster seat for older kids.
Good booster seat for kids. When I purchased this one I was wondering if it would be comfortable for my six year old on intercity drives (4 hours or more). However I'm happy to report that he is comfortable in this seat for long drives. Car seat is light but sturdy, easily fixable. Note that it does not have a five point harness. Car seat belt to be used. Cup holders are functional. Place it atop a cloth piece/seat protector if you have a leather/faux leather car seats or it will leave marks on it if installed for extended periods on the seat. Kids cannot sleep in it as side headrests do not provide support for sleep.

Comfortable booster seat
I am very pleased with the product. This has an adequate cushion, this helps for a long journey without any discomfort for the baby. The headrest and back support are lightweight and adjustable. It also is very easy to use. The armrest and holders for food and drinks were very useful for my daughter.Note: This is a booster seat and only for children of 15-36kg.

Happy with purchase
First of all there is misnomer as to what this is. It is not a carseat, despite being sold as one. It is a booster with a backrest/support. The difference is that the seatbelt is being used on the child rather than on the chair. A carseat implies that the seat is secured in the car then uses its own restraining mechanism to secure the child. This isn't the case for this chair. The child puts on the seatbelt as one would without any additional straps.Another misnomer is the function of this seat in terms of safety. The seat is used to secure the child in relation to the height of your seatbelt strap and to prevent "submarining", when the child can slip under the lap-strap and negate the use of the seatbelt. That is why the armrests are adjustable and should be comfortably adjusted to suit your child's leg height without going too high. Too low and you'll cut their blood circulation off in their legs.As a result, the plastic (as someone else has mentioned from another review) does not need to be that sturdy and has to be someone light because if the car should suffer an impact, the weight of the carseat should not harm the child by pressing hard on the back and crushing their body between the carseat and the seatbelt.Whatever the case, the seat does what it supposed to do and is compliant with regulations.
