The light had plenty of power and was great but only last 3 moths before I had problems. When I first got it the switch seem wired it would sometimes work and sometime not. Then one night it got stuck in the on position and would not turn off. I am checking with the company to see if they will replace it. I will keep you posted.

I wanted a very bright and highly dependable flashlight that is relatively small and lightweight. The Nightstick 540XL fit the bill perfectly. It is extremely bright, fits nicely in my hand and pocket. I have purchased other flashlights from this company and like the fact that they are well built and durable. You will like this light.

Light is bright but the switch is problematic. The light turns on and off on its own. Stick with the proven brands such as surefire and streamlight. I've bought $20 lights that are all more reliable than this one.

only thing id change is have it turn on in lowest setting and then go to higher settings, now after having the light a period of time, im having a similar problem the others are. the switch is faulty and when the light isnt on it drains the batteries. I have to take the batteries out everytime i shut it off.

so I bought this product for a few reasons. 1) The light output is rated at 800 lumens. when compared to another light with the same rating it seems to be less than 800. still it is a bright light and is more than adequate. I cleared my house with it, and it does an excellent job lighting an entire room. 2) The runtime is rated at more than an hour. So far that seems to be accurate. 3) The description clearly states that this is capable of being upgraded to a rechargeable light. So far I have not found a kit for the upgrade. Hopefully going straight to the company will help. This is a great light without spending a lot of money. Pay a little more and get the nightstick light with rechargeable kit. It is well worth it.

I love this light. It is extremely bright and the push button switch makes it easy to turn on and off. Also seems pretty durable. I've dropped it several times while on top of a 6' ladder and it doesn't care. Just keeps goin. Nightstick has awesome products!

I have bought other flashlights from this brand and they were great. This arrived and was everything I experienced until it stopped working. I need one for my work so I’m back to square one. Only lasted a couple of months. The price for a replacement battery is ridiculous. I thought it was rechargeable and it can be but only if you pay for an upgrade kit. It’s a waste of money and Nightstick lost my business forever because of this ripoff.

No me gustó el producto. Ahí que dejar el botón de encendido oprimido por que si no lo haces se apaga la linterna. Cuando se deja encendida la luz comienza de mayor a menor y vuelve de mayor a menos. No se queda en una luz permanente
