Works pretty good...
Bought to add to a security setup. Nice to have a 'hidden' cam. This one works pretty good. Not the best picture indoors in low light, but good enough to see faces fairly clearly. Unlike the others listed here, there is no 'tuning knob' to mess with. Just select the channel (one) and it locks to the cameras frequency automatically. And also unlike the others, it works through walls. Right now its going through a floor, a wall, and a heavy wood dresser about 30 feet distant. Being 2.4ghz, it will pick up some interference from other 2.4ghz items like routers and phones, so try to keep them away. Also, microwaves and unshielded TVs like my LCD with florescent back lights also cause interference. None of it was a deal breaker and the camera always synched, but the pic got fuzzy with lines. Simply moving the receiver away from these sources by a few feet cleared the pic right up. The mic is also very good and will pick up from a good distance and is clear. Thinking about buying another one or 2 if I can be assured of getting them on different frequencies.

Good little wireless camera for the price!
I purchased it planning to use just the receiver as a replacement for one that goes with some other Astek wireless cameras that I already owned, but once I plugged this in I found it outperformed the other more expensive cameras i owned and havent looked back. Its small size allowed me to hook it up to the power socket on my porch while still remaining inconspicuous, and by hooking the receiver to my DVR it gave me a extra security feed where I can monitor my front door 24/7. It been three months now and despite running it continuously during that time has worked better than I expected...I'm actually buying two more today to replace the other two more expensive Astek cameras i own!

Good for the price
It took two min to set up and get working, i like that u can adjust the focus. but tuning it is a little tricky, it takes a little patience for that. there are lines through the tv screen but with it tuned it isnt bad. mic works well. camera works well in a well lit enviroment, and adjusts britness on its own. also it was a small camera so it would be good to hide.

Not Bad for the Money
The media could not be loaded. Bought this camera to use for my model railroad; I mounted it on a train car and pushed around the layout. For this the camera worked fairly well, I mean for under $30 what kind of image quality do you think it's going to have? This same camera is sold on the web for $85 to $100 on sites that sell model railroad or R.C. hobby supplies, so the best thing is the price. I've posted a using this camera and receiver, as they say, "one video is worth a thousand words".

Piece of Crap
Don't believe the 4 and 5 star reviews. They must have been written by people affiliated with the company. I completely agree with the other 1 star review DOESN'T WORK. Clear, simple, easy instructions and setup and NOTHING, zip, no signal, not even static, a piece of crap. . I wouldn't upset if the picture quality or range was poor but there isn't anything. Also, you practically need a hack saw to get it out of the packaging. Even the battery was double wrapped. Hardly worth the effort mailing back. The Geeks can donate my $29.99 to some unemployed non-essential.

Eh... could do better for less
VERY short range and a tricky setup. It is OK but not worth the money. I followed the directions but it still seems to fall a bit short.

good price
Better than I thought for the price. I'd like a little better pixel improvement but for the price very good.
