Wonderful purchase!

I took was required to use this book for my economics class. The book is so poorly written that my professor had to give us tons of extra hand outs and notes to compensate for this book. If your economics background is shaky or your haven't econ in awhile you will definitely need to get a supplemental book to this textbook or you won't make it. If your professor or school select this book you are in for a long hard term, get ready.

The book was delivered to me in the amount of time specified by the seller and in the condition specified as well. The content is a little hard to follow and I'm sure their are better books out there especially if you are just looking to teach yourself. As this was a required book for my class it was okay but if it were not for the teacher and my classmates I feel that I would not have gotten anything from just the book.

The book content in and of itself is fine. However, the condition of the book when I received it was horrible. The binder that it was in was cracked all the way through on the its back side. The pages were all bent. There were different colored tabs on almost every other page. The holes were re-punched. Some of the pages were just left hanging out of the book. I could not believe that the seller asked for what she did knowing that that book was in poor condition. To make matters worse, the printed access card wasn't even with it. The ONLY reason why I gave two stars for the rating is because it arrived before time. I would never trust this seller again. She has left me in a bit of a bind.

This textbook is one of the most boring texts I have ever read. To be fair, it contains all the information, but it is extremely difficult to read; hence, 2 stars instead of only 1. The authors regurgitate their points over and over - I feel like each chapter can be reduced at least by 1/3. They are definitely very knowledgeable people about the science of economics, but their writing style is redundant, uninspiring, and just plain boring. Unless this textbook comes with a charismatic instructor attached, you will probably end up despising the economics and the class when relying on this book alone.

I think that this book does not break down the material as much as it should and is not for beginners, you may need a supplement to learn some of the materials. I think that it assumes that you already know some concepts.
