Wow! This is great, and pretty easy using pliers!
I am borrowing my mother-in-law’s 2004 Lexus RX 330, and the key fob had a small part broken to the point where the metal key part was loose, and the battery was dead to boot!At first search, I found the same item that includes an uncut key for around the same price, so I am glad that I kept looking and found one that you can use your current key with.I was a little confused by the instructions on this site, because they don’t make too much sense, but in a video review I watched, the man said to use pliers to gently push the metal key into the plastic slot. This was the one thing I had a small issue with, because I was trying to push it in without pliers. Trying to push with your fingers just doesn’t work unless you have thumbs of steel. I was still nervous that it wouldn’t fit until I got home and grabbed my pliers. The metal key part slides tightly down into the frame of the smallest part where there’s a slot for the key to go. Slide the key carefully down all the way until the wide end settles at the opening, then use pliers and gently alternate pushing on each side until it’s completely in and the hole in the metal key matches the hole in the plastic part. Then it’s as simple as putting the key part that you just assembled into the bottom of the case first, and then push the keypad in to match the button holes. Snap the back cover on, screw in the little screw, and voila! There was even a piece of black tape covering the Lexus symbol, which I didn’t realize it had, so it was an unexpected plus! Before I assembled it, I opened up the keypad and replaced the dead battery, so now I have a practically brand new Lexus key fob that works like a charm, and cost under $10 including 2 Amazon basics lithium batteries. Furthermore, I received my order less than 24 hours after ordering. Thank you!!!

Going great so far.
My mother owns a Lexus, and her keyfob snapped one day.She reached out to a Lexus dealership and they quoted her $75 for a new key that'd "need to be programmed for her car".For months she'd use the tiny little snapped key, always getting stressed whenever she couldn't find it (it was like this for MONTHS, I'm very surprised it wasn't lost). Finally we ordered her this part and it was quite simple to install, her keyfob had already broken in half at the seam so no need to dremel anything away like other reviews had said.Pushing the actual key part into it's little bracket took some force, but it took around 3 minutes and her key is (almost) as good as new.The only issue is that the buttons aren't flush with the openings, so you have to kinda push your fingers into the hole in order to press anything, but overall it's worked great and as intended after a few weeks of constant use (she does Uber, so she puts alot of wear on parts very, very quickly).

You will have to apply elbow grease to get it to actually work
If you didn't lose the key blade and the innards of the old keyfob, then this is a great valued purchase with a caveat. You will have to file down the top part of the blade in order for it to fit in the housing that screws into the case, and then take a rubber mallet to hammer the case around the top part of the key since it will still be an extremely tight fit. This is good, because that means the key isn't going anywhere when you turn it in the ignition. My case also didn't close completely, even when screwing in as tight as I can without stripping the screw, so you might have to shave off a bit of the plastic around the key for a perfect fit. Otherwise, it does work and the car starts fine. Also as everyone else said, the Lexus logo is covered with black electrical tape, so don't be alarmed if you receive it in the mail and there's no logo. Just peel the tape off.For the value of 11 dollars, it beats going to a dealership and spending hundreds for a new key, but you'll have to put in a bit of effort for it to work.EDIT 2 months later: After having it for two months, the golden finish on the Lexus logo has rubbed off and became silver. The key is still in great shape so far.April 2021: Key still works and shows no signs of cracking. I find taking off the back battery cover of the key's transmitter will allow it to fit much better in the case, allowing it to close completely. Put in place some scraps of paper behind the battery will make sure it doesn't move when you press the buttons.

Worked perfectly for me!
I bought this to replace only the plastic housing for my ‘04 Lexus ES330. As you can see from the first picture, the plastic had broken at a crucial point where the screw is. But I had also super glued it in several other places prior to that because I was hoping it would last. Hoped on Amazon and found this and after reading other reviews I was a bit nervous but for me it works super easy. My actual key popped out of the old key super easily, but I think that was in part to the plastic around it had already broken loose. But installing the key to the new parts wasn’t hard at all. Just some force and it slid right on in, no tools needed. Then I just put everything back together. Mine is sealed on the sides and aligns perfectly. There is no Lexus logo on the back of the key, but I could care less about this (I saw other reviews where people wanted this on their key). This over all fix cost me $8 and was well worth it!

Had to modify
I rate this a 3.5. It functions after modification. It is very lightweight compared to the original fob. The modification took a mini grinder which most people do not have. It did not fit my 2008 GX470 key blade without boring out part of the fob. Hopefully it will last for awhile. I will need to purchase better fitting one to have on hand as a precaution.

This is junk
This product is not a correct fit for 2000 Lexus RX300. I have had this casing for only a few months on a car I don't drive much. It already has 3 cracks in the plastic and I have to press the lock button extra hard to get it to work. Buy another product this one is trash.
