As another reviewer noted, the bags themselves are fine. They hold up as well as the Litter Genie bags and I haven’t noticed any difference in odor control. However, the container keeping the bag in place is in two pieces that are not attached, so the lid pops off extremely easily and the bag unravels. There’s nothing to keep the bag contained, which also makes it hard to pull it out for installation even if you get it into the litter genie.Next time, I’m going to try taping the lid to see if that helps, but ideally the manufacturer could improve the design. This would otherwise be a great alternative to the expensive litter genie refills if the container was designed better.

I was excited to find these refills, especially with the longer length. I was hesitant when I opened the package. The cartridge was flimsy and the top popped off. But, I gave it a try. The bag LOOKS the same but it isn't. It smells odd and doesn't cut easily. I don't think it contains the odor of the waste either. I am not even using the rest of them. I ordered the REAL Litter Genie refills. It's well worth the price difference!I am editing this to only 1 star. I didn't even finish using the first cartridge. I threw them all away! The litter genie container had litter all over the inside around the top. The odor of the blue bag just enhanced the soiled litter and not in a good way. Once I cleaned up the litter genie and put the original refill in I noticed a difference right away! I never could smell the "litter corner" before switching to these. I keep the box scooped and use the Genie. These generic bags are not worth the savings, unless you want your place to stink!!

I wanted to like these but I just can't. They don't last nearly as long as the Litter Genie ones and they do not hold odor in very well and get stinky so fast. Also, it's hard to store the ones you're not using be cause the packaging sucks; mine came unraveled and caused a mess and a headache

Does the same job as Litter Genie at half the price! Also, uses less plastic than Genie brand, which I like

Not the same quality as the Litter Genie Refills. The bags do not tear easily for knotting nor are they as easy as the Genie bags to insert. Will not buy this product again but will pay a little extra to get the Litter Genie Standard Refill bags.

The blue plastic liner seems very solid in this. However, when you pull off the plastic top of a unit, it also pulls off the plastic that holds the blue bag in place (it's very lightweight plastic). So now I'm trying to shove 19 feet of blue bag back into the tiny plastic holder. Very disappointing.

We’ve been buying “off brand” bags to put in our litter genie for a while now. These bags by far are the best. They are more bang for your buck with having more feet in each container. Highly recommend buying!

I've purchased off-brand replacements for litter genie before and had no issues. However, this one is not usable. The container is too thin and flimsy to hold the bad in place so the entire 21 feet comes out and cannot be re-contained. I purchased a multi pack of refills and every one of them did the same thing - all unusable. Complete waste of more than $20.I'll go back to my better off-brand. Firik held up just as well as the original Genie brand.
