I had problems with the sockets going bad on my existing fixture so I wanted something more ...
I bought three of these to replace the Progress Lighting P5789-10-like fixtures that came with my house. I'm not sure if the existing lights were sold by Progress as there are several lighting companies that appear to be selling same the fixture from a common manufacturer. I had problems with the sockets going bad on my existing fixture so I wanted something more robust.These are outdoor rated fixtures but I have installed them inside the house in my hallways. They are well constructed and the sockets are of higher quality than my old fixtures (perhaps because the are rated for outdoors). They are a bit larger than what I would consider to be optimal for inside use but not obnoxiously so.Style-wise they look pretty good. Maybe a bit nautical..... not what I would have picked if I were choosing the fixtures for my whole house, but they work well with what's here. In the right place they will look nice.Install was uneventful. Standard fixture that screwed right into the box. It does come with the hardware to do a center-post install if needed.

I spent hours searching for a flush mount, outdoor, "stainless/grey" colored fixture. BINGO! This one is perfect and matches our front door handle and all other hardware. The design makes changing the bulbs easy by unscrewing the bottom knob which releases the fixture's decorative glass/metal cover. The last fixture I had the bulbs were ONLY accessible thru the bottom opening. My husbands hands were too large to do this. Short of taking the fixture down, I was the only one who could change the bulbs. Mounting was relatively easy as long as I used a "messenger" string to feed the existing Bracket screws thru the insulation to the fixture. I LOVE MY NEW DECORATIVE FIXTURE!!! Well worth the cost!

Quality made light. Put in 3 GE LED bulbs and used this in kitchen above table. Burning less than 35 watts. Gives great light over area. Wife was pleasantly surprised that I made such a tasteful purchase. Scored all the way around. Packaging and shipping were great. Looking forward to many years of no hassle to change a bulb.

Exactly what we were looking for.
Needed a outdoor porch fixture and we wanted to match our carriage lights. This was just perfect and looks fabulous.

Lives Up to the Picture
I got this in bronze for our front porch, and what an improvement! It's a great-looking, quality light and a decent price. VERY nice light. I will say that, to me, some of the pics made it look like the upper pieces of glass were frosted, but they're just as clear as the rest. Very happy with this purchase.
