This book reveals so much more than any other book I've read about the inner success strategies and workings of being a broker. i highly recommend this to anyone thinking about being a mortgage broker, this will help you decide fro yourself if this is the field you really want to get into or not. And if it is, then this book will help you bypass much of the BS that stands in the way of the flogger washed up on the beach....

This book did not reveal the information that I was looking for. I thought this book would tell me how I can begin a career as a mortgage broker.

I was really pleased with this book! I've just recently gotten started as a loan originator and I found this book to be really well written with tons of information without getting boring. Obviously loans aren't the most exciting topic out there, but the author throws some humor and real-life stories that keep you interested and entertained. He goes into a lot of depth on the process that you will go through with your clients. There are examples of all the forms (disclosures, 1003, etc) and at the end of the book there are a few mini chapters written by other mortgage brokers that give some interesting tips on how to create more business and run a more efficient operation. All in all, this was a really good book and I would recommend it to anyone getting started in the business!

If you're looking for a glossary of terms and forms, then this book will provide it, but nothing more. This is a book full of boilerplate info that has nothing to do "Your Career". Save your money. Too bad Amazon won't let me give it ZERO STARS. I sure wish they'd remove books with misleading titles.

I purchased this book because I recently got into the business. I have also purchased many other books by other authors in the same field. I have to say that this one is the most informative. The way it is written allows the reader to easily follow the flow of the book. By the end of the book , you feel as though you're a mortgage expert. A definate must have for people just starting out in the business.
