Good, but missing a few things
I'll start by saying I liked this book. It's an easy read, and everything is expressed in a pretty straight-forward and easy to understand manner. I pulled some good information from the book and will be able to incorporate a lot of it into creating a more healthy lifestyle. There is an exercise plan and "general" guidance for figuring out a range of macro counts for protein and carbs with a suggested list of grocery items. I especially liked the "bowl-method" section for meal inspiration and there was also good information on the roles the individual macros play in nutrition. The workout plan given was also displayed in an easy to use and understand way (although a few of the exercises will require me to google before attempting because I haven't heard of them.)The reason I had to give 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars is because the book is not a complete guide or plan to transformation as the title suggests. Some big pieces are missing. Several times there is mention of meals plans being determined by individual macros and one mention of the plan incorporating height for accurate reading (there is no chart or reference for this -- only a large-gapped guideline, so I had to find a macro calculator online for my individual needs).Towards the end of the book it mentions "we have designed your meal plans ... so it is best to stick with the macros and order of meals we have provided". Neither are provided in the book. It also mentions that a fat loss plan should be followed for two of the plan phases and a maintenance plan should be followed for the third phase. Again, no meal plan is given in the book and their is no info given on differentiating from a fat loss or maintenance plan if you're figuring your macros on your own.I do think the book does a good job of laying the groundwork for teaching "how to fish" as it's put several time in the book, but it falls short of actually teaching. Perhaps it's meant to be a supplemental book to those on the author's personal training/nutrition plans available through her website. If that's the case, I'm sure it's a great aide for those clients. Just not for those thinking they were getting a full plan in the book alone.

Entitled Author and Vague Nutritional Dribble: No Calorie or Macro plan in book
This is my second review of the book. Its is self edited and the first round has no actual calorie or macro plan and spelling typos galore. She just talks about what types of food to eat. And the last page of the book sends you to her website where you pay 84$ for a nutrition plan. I emailed the author, Theresa, and she was not courtesious or sympathetic or apologetic. She called my first review a false accusation of bait and switch. The irony is her book is the text book definition of bait and switch, where you chase the nutritional carrot through hundreds of pages to only end up at her website to be charged more. She emailed me the nutrition plan and claimed she is emailing them to everyone who asks. Funny thing, she only sent me the nutrition plan after I posted a negative review and mentioned getting the Better Business Bureau involved.I find it curious why she doesn't announce her mistake on the website and put a link to the actual meal plan there since that is where readers go after hundreds of pages of non specific nutritional dribble. It seems odd to just email out individual nutrition plans. Which brings me to my next point, you must be a good reader to catch this mistake. She refers to the leaning out nutrition plan based on height and the mantainence/bulk plan, then talks about how to do them but not the what. If you stay focused its shocking to get to the end and think to yourself, did I miss something? I think the people who gave this 5 stars got a copy with the nutrition plan or are just happy with grocery lists and recipies but not calorie or Macro requirements as promised in the book itself. As a final personal note, Theresa the author accused me of false accusations and told me to take my review down. I'm leaving it up because I'm sick of diet books and authors taking advantage of disenfranchised fat people. Everything is true. This supposed edition of the book and who knows what other editions have no nutritional plan and the author is not apologetic and she will try to bully you into taking down honest reviews. The sad part is she told me in an email that forgetting to include this was a "snafu" and that I should rate the book higher because she sent me the nutritional info. Here is the problem sugar: the book is not even a one star book because it claims to have a plan and there is no detailed nutrition plan. Its a major mistake not a "snafu" and such minimizing language is typical of those who are privilidged and who frankly don't care or are far removed from their readers. In closing, even sending me a nutritional plan after I complain doesn't make this more than a 1 star book. The book on its own is incomplete at best and a bait and switch at worst.Ps Theresa: if you publicly owned your mistake on your website/made the plan easily accessible and were actually apologetic and/or courtesious I wouldn't be as upset. You need to check your privilege if you want to keep customers/ social media fans.

A MUST READ!!!
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who may be struggling to reach their fitness goals or who just need some extra motivation! Theresa talks about everything from the mental aspect of fitness to exercises to proper nutrition. I love that she promotes a real, healthy way to reach fitness goals as I am so sick of constantly seeing and hearing about fad diets and "quick fix" diets. It took me only a couple days to read through the entire book because I didn't want to put it down in my free time. This is more than just another step by step workout plan. This is a great, conversational style, informative book that has inspired me to get off my butt and get out of my head so I can start this body transforming journey with all the tools I need to make it happen.

Have learned a few new things and use it as a go to reference ( especially for glutes)This is a good value for the money and great for beginners and experienced competitors alike. The book itself is a hardcover and has a professional feel about it.
