Best Gluten Free Pasta...period
I've tried every type of gluten-free pasta. Lentil, rice flour, corn, and even chickpea from other companies. The flavor, rigidity of the pasta, cook time... all of it. Just the best.I would highly recommend you try this pasta. They have different types. I would recommend that if you're using a warm sauce that you under cook by a minute or two and then let them finish in the sauce. They soak up sauce really well but will get soggy and break down if you cook them to "just-right" then put in the sauce.Flavor is unique unto itself as is every pasta that I've tried. There is no substitute for wheat flour. But the flavor from these seems to add to the dish not detract. Some of the lentil pasta I've had are so strong and some of the rice pastas are so weak in flavor.Try the various shapes and enjoy!!!

This brand is by far the best.
I've tried several chick pea pastas, and this is by far the best. The others were mushy - more like a dumpling.

Flavor and Texture Is Very Different
The product that I received tastes mealy and somewhat harsh. I love lentils and quinoa, but this product tastes like neither. Also, the texture is very glutinous. I've been experimenting with a lot of gluten free pastas and so far this is one of my least favorites. However, I suppose the health benefits out weigh the palatability. It might be best served with a really robust sauce.

Best chickpea pasta hands down
This is the BEST chickpea pasta- tastes great and had the texture of real (tender) pasta. The ingredients are legit - just organic chickpeas and lentils - unlike most other chickpea pastas like Banza that use tapioca and xantham gum. Really love this stuff, but it's hard to find in stores!

One of the better pasta alternatives
This was my first foray into non-almond flour-based pasta alternatives and I can now say it hits the spot. The texture is pretty close (like regular pasta, make sure not to overcook. I would boil it for at least a couple minutes less than the directions on the box say.) I found the taste similar to whole grain pasta, and it blends just fine with the sauce.UPDATE: Now that I've had more time to experiment with this, I wanted to add that if you're looking at "alternative" pastas for glucose control reasons, this may not be the best choice, though of course, everyone's body responds differently. I thought since the fiber content was high, it would be OK, but it still spikes my blood sugar higher than I'm comfortable with. I still stand by everything else in my original review though.

This pasta sucks
This pasta is very disappointing. Has great macros buts it’s so dense and tough. Honestly if you’re good with starchy pasta it’s fine. But it’s definitely not like traditional pasta. The Barilla protein pasta is better unless you need gluten free.

Gluten-Free!
Our test lab consists of a human who suffers from food that has gluten greater than 5ppm, which is the threshold of Certified GF. Chickpea Pasta has been consistently good.
