Used for a water tap on my pump up bottle works very well

I needed a fuel tap for my 1984 Z750 as the original vacuum operated tap had become unreliable and sometimes failed to shut off completely.I bought this tap as an extra inline stop valve to prevent flooding while the bike is parked up and so far it'a worked perfectly - its been fitted for a few months now.I've only used it with super unleaded so I'm unsure of how / if it would react to E10 with Ethanol.Just to satisfy myself the tap would work okay I stripped it before use to check. There were a few rough edges inside the tap which may have damaged to seal - so I Dremelled theae out just to be sure and then lubricated it with rubber grease. Because of the rough internal finish I dropped it to 4 stars - but it's worked faultlessly so far with a bit of fettling.

I’m a motorcycle mechanic in a dealer workshop. This was to replace a tap on a remote fuel tank ( used for carburettors which are slowly dying out ) which started leaking. So far doing its job by well stopping fuel.

Absolute waste of time fitting these as fuel taps, they both leaked from the handle and sucked in plenty of air so fuel air mixture was ruined. dont waste your money. i took them out.
