The battery / connector to the 7D worked sporadically. Can't recommend based on my use. I also have a high capacity external battery from another vendor with an adapter for the 7d which works flawlessly. Thought that the 'higher end' would be better.

A good idea, but after just a couple of uses let me down at a critical moment.Not sure if it's a bad connection or what...Needs further investigation.

Product worked for a few months then went dead. The first issue was when you pushed the battery level button the battery would light up and never extinguish. I used this to cover a convention event and for a documentary. The the battery is perfect for long video shoots but now after only a few months of owning it, it is completely dead and will not recharge. Amazon says I am outside of the window to get this replaced therefore buyer BEWARE!!
