It works. it's cheap. It could be better. It's probably good enough
I wish it came with screws. It takes two screws a piece. They're small. I used one screw because I didn't have enough appropriately sized small screws. It worked fine. It would be better if there were some smaller sized one that would hold/clamp the tip end of the rod more securely. As it is, it grips the handle portion quite securely and the tip just kind of rests in the other one. But they're cheap and they work and so they're good enough for 4 stars.
