Does what it's meant to do!
The kit works fine. The tools fit and are easy to use. The replacement jack worked first time when I replaced the existing broken one. Quite an easy process, just look on youtube for instruction videos on how to take apart an xbox one controller. The jack requires no soldering and just sits against the circuit board. Just make sure you don't force anything when assembling so as to not break anything, I took mine apart and re-assembled multiple times before buying this to try and fix it without a new jack with no damage caused but to no avail, this sorted the problem first time.

Excellent jack. Incorrect tools.
Excellent replacement jack, works perfectly. BUT the screwdrivers supplied didnt fit my xbox one controller (1708) as they were WAY too small. You need a T8 for the first set of screws and it was not supplied. Had to buy them elsewhere.

Saved me money and so easy to change.
Suprised how easy that was . Part came with the tools needed packaging was good. 15min video on youtube and job was done. Tested my headset and everything is working correctly. Only time will tell how long it lasts. But that price how can I moan. my pad was 1708 too.

Doesn’t work
Tools were fine and do the job but headphone jack would not fully insert into the replacement port making it useless. Suggest you purchase this part elsewhere.

Exactly as advertised
Perfect for what I needed. The tools fit and worked perfectly and the headfone jack worked when all connected up. For such a low price I got a £60 controller working again in 10 minutes. Thanks.

Good Kit, but No Instructions
The kit arrived with no instructions, not even a link to a website with instructions. Fortunately there are plenty of guides and videos on the internet showing you what to do. Once I knew what I was doing the kit worked fine. The trickiest bit of the process was prising off the grip plates to get to the screws, as the prise tools were a little fiddly to use. Once I'd got those off though, the rest was a breeze, and I now have a fully functioning headset jack.

Super easy - Worked fab
The product was super easy to install. Loads of examples on youtube to demostrate how. You dont need any sort of skill to replace. No soldering involved, just clicked in and out. I should mentioned one of the 6 or 7 toggles was bent the wrong way, but i think that was due to the delivery not the product. Just check which way the toggles go on your old jack port. Would reccomended for anyone with a faulty xbox one controller :)
