If Chuck Norris wears watches. I’ll bet he’d want this one.
I think the colorful term beginning with the letters B and A aptly describe this watch. The watch is a solid chunk of black coated stainless steel with sapphire crystal and great lume. Second Momentum watch I have owned. This one is tougher than the first, which I bought for its toughness. I’ve seen it described as a tank of a watch. I agree. Chuck would be proud.

Attractive, Functional Value
Although I have only been wearing the Momentum watch for a couple of weeks, I have been impressed. I looked at many other higher end brands before making the purchase (Omega, Tissot, Seiko, and others). This one had many positive reviews and seemed to tick off most of the boxes that I wanted in a watch (affordability, durability, water resistant, ease of adjustment, off-set crown, clean dial, and larger diameter). I also wanted a watch that looked just as good in a business suit as at the beach. I have purchased several NATO watch straps to change up the appearance. So far, It seems to keep great time and it is a solid piece, but I don’t find it too heavy or unwieldy. Personally, I think that at its price, it is hard to find a better watch.

It’s a tank of a watch!
This is a great watch. I’m a huge fan of Momentum watches. The M50 is built like a tank. The lume in this watch rivals, if not beats, the line on some of my Citizen divers. You simply cannot go wrong with the M50.

Looks great.
This watch looks great. It will not keep time. After 2 weeks it just stoped running. Thought the battery was bad so I replaced it. Runs sporadically. With a few taps on the face it starts again. Next time you look at it you have lost another hour or two.

Solid and heavy, takes a beating but still pulls off subtle-sexy look
I totally love this thing…. I’ve gotten the most eclectic variety of people giving me compliments for various reasons. I have the nato-band style though fyi. It’s because that’s just my thing. I have prettier watched and I have more rugged watches. I haven’t taken this thing off for any occasion since putting it on. It’s made Canadian tough which I respect, but it blends in just fine fishing off the florida keys with the cigar smokin big shots. It’s Look:It is a subtle yet bold statement piece, it get’s noticed. But it’s not bourgeois, just solid & nonchalant. Fyi, I got the blue piece with the blue nato strap to have interchangeable options if I want later. But haven’t had to do so yet. (My ONLY small complaint is the lugs could be a little sturdier quality though or at least it could have come with an extra set🤷♂️).My Style:I’m and educated 40yr old with tattoos that wears this thing comfortably into Municipal Infrastructure areas and also in on IT meetings with my job. Personally I dress casual-sleek. Got all my hair still (thank God lol) and a 50/50 gray beard. I legit get compliments from 25yr olds and 55yr olds. It’s Function:I’m an active dad who does water sports and my little kids beat the hell out of me when we play. I’m a rescue diver but I haven’t taken it diving yet (so can’t advise on that part). But….a few weeks back I took a spill at 63mph off a jetski and did effin cartwheels down the pacific coast line. Watch still looks like it came straight out of the box as I write this 3-months later👍Nice job @momentumwatches 🤘😎

One of my favorite watches.
This watch is solid. Well built and illumination works well.

It's a Nice watch...bad glow at night.
Little small for me. Nice quality. Worse part? The glowing hands and numbers for night time use are horrible. Only glows for 20-30 min tops.

Really poor quality...
Over the years, I've collected several Momentum watches and their quality is steadily declining- with increasing quality deficiencies on newer models. But I purchased this model and with one week of the 2-year warranty's expiration, its second hand simply fell off inside the crystal.I submitted a warranty claim to them and after a week of no response, I simply sent it to their provider for repair. They did respond after I sent it and I provided them information on the repair ticket # for their provider. But they never contacted anyone their to cover the repair costs under warranty. So I ended-up pay $100+ from my own pocket to fix a watch that should've been covered by Momentum. As a previous advocate for their watches, it saddens me to see their quality and ruggedness decline. But it look like they're becoming more of a "fashion" watch maker now anyway. Either way, I'd avoid their watches now...

Roll the dice and see what you get to save a few bucks off of retail
A beautiful watch with some back movement of the minute hand (about a quarter-half second when I move my wrist.) and the spring bars were kinked from the nato strap it came with. Not sure if the play is still within manufacturer specs but I'm guessing chucking it in a bag and having it couriered across the continent twice by what I can only assume was the foot of a drunken soccer player didn't help much. The momentum watch box was beat to hell and looked like it was used as a door stop but I'm sure it was the only thing keeping this in one piece. I expect better protective packaging when buying fragile items and /or more care and concern taken during the delivery process. It was also late - no surprise there. I'm a fan of a deal but I'm not sure it was worth it even at 200 bucks with bent springbars, floppy minute hand, and misaligned seconds hand.

Absolute bargain for quality build watch suitable for hard work or play!
Ordered late afternoon on 23rd December via Prime, arrived 1130am next day (24th December). This watch is the best designed for my needs I have ever owned (at 68y I can say I have had a few) and sold at the best price (by far) available or found on line. It is one of the few with actual visible NUMBERS around the dial, good luminosity, red tipped sweep second hand and a "cyclops" (some say "wart") on face which makes the date very easy to read. The bezel is one way movement only which is a true dive watch safety feature and the face is sapphire crystal which is apparently extremely scratch resistant. Rubber, good quality strap with steel keepers and having 500 meters resistant classification (with solid feeling screw capped crown) with one piece solid steel case again apparently makes this watch extremely hard wearing. The cardboard box came with two warranty inserts, one for two years and one for 6 years. I e-mailed the makers in Canada asking which applied and they came back by return confirming that the M50 is warranted for 6 Years (Amazon site says 2 years) as the battery (lithium CR2012) should last for at least that long making it unnecessary to open the watch before that time. Japanese quartz movement so NO need to keep it in the sun for a few hours each day as I found with "eco-watches". Only niggle is that I bought it as "only one left" from Amazon site and it is still saying "only one in stock" 3 days later!

Toller Diver
