Finish easy to scratch
This furniture is really cute and my daughter loves it the only draw back is that it seems to be pine and is very easy to scratch

Beautiful!
Took around 2 hours to assemble. It is a beautiful and sturdy dresser. Perfect size and shape for the room we need it for. So glad to find something affordable that is not press board!

Wish assembly instructions were more clear
A bit of a pain to assemble, you'll definitely want a drill with a Phillip head bit but overall I'm satisfied.

It really just depends
At first I was wary of the other reviews but I wanted it so I figured I’d see for myself and go from there. I used powers tools after reading a few reviews and fortunately didn’t have any issues. At first glance I thought the pieces were not labeled but if not a sticker stating which piece it is, check on the edges for a number. Dresser was quite easy to assemble, with the thanks of power tools and instructions. I think if you’ve built ikea furniture to some extent, this should not be the worst. Or for me it was not. I do think you could find a more quality piece depending on your wants and needs elsewhere however I loved the look, and was hoping for a smaller dresser as I do not own many articles of clothing. I actually adore the small size of the drawers. And I’m much more happy with this dresser than the huge one from ikea I have used in the past. However metal drawer sliders would be a great edition as you must ensure you’re closing the drawer straight. But I was too lazy to do that so I stuck with what came with the package. All around that doesn’t bother me. I love the size, the color and the style of the dresser. And that’s not to say the quality is completely lacking. I find it it to be a sturdy quality piece for me and my needs but that may vary from whatever it is you personally desire. Sometimes it really just depends. Whether you receive a damaged product, or had difficulty assembling it, in my opinion you never really know until you, yourself try. :)

Pleasing
Edit: I bought both larger and smaller chest. They are both more beautiful than the picture imo. The larger piece was much more difficult to assemble. It would have been easier w/two people though. I feel they could use more substantial method to join seams since the pieces being larger were reliant on same number of dowels and screws to join. By far much more torque is needed to join 90 degree pieces in larger piece than the smaller. Original review: This is a beautiful piece of furniture. I bought the caramel version. The wood is smooth and well sanded. I believe this is solid wood from Brazil. The only non-wood pieces are the back and drawer bottoms which are also smooth to the touch. There were no flaws in either the wood pieces or the drilled holes. Everything lines up exactly as it should. That said I did not find it breeze to put together. This is largely because the instructions left out what I thought would be helpful which was some written descriptive steps. Instructions said to use glue for the dowels and I completely left that off thinking I might make a mistake and need to take it apart temporarily but I didnt and not using the glue didnt seem to make a difference. I think somewhere it said not to use electric tools. I did though to save what would have been a taxing effort to my wrists. There are a lot of screws to be torqued in. I used an impact driver and just short blasts to get the screw going and that worked fine. You do need to be really careful though. Be sure to lay out pieces as shown in the diagrams. There arent multiple ways to put this together so be sure to follow all the steps. I really love the aesthetic of this piece and feel it is well worth the cost. Remember that the low cost is a trade off for the purchaser assembling it. If you dont have patience in assembling furniture then you might be unhappy.

Not Worth the Money
Once assembled, it looks like the picture and is very cute. However, getting it to that point was a nightmare. The parts came improperly labeled, so I had to match each piece to the picture of the parts included on the assembly instructions. The wood is like cardboard, it's very soft and cracks easily. The screws to connect each piece were too short so they either would not screw in or would slip out of the pieces as I tried to build the drawer. Some of the screw/dowel holes were not lined up properly so I had to assemble them without some of the dowels. The nails included to hold the back frame in place folded in half when I tried to gently hammer them in. If you were to look at the back of my dresser, it's held together with thumbtacks from my grocery store because they were 10x stronger than the nails included. Overall, you have to be relatively handy to assemble this dresser, and if you are handy, it is going to be frustrating and disappointing. Each and every piece is weak and dysfunctional. I am all for pretty furniture for cheap, especially on a college-kid budget, but this is not worth it - trust me.

Machined incorrectly
Machined incorrectly which messed up assembly. Too many pieces. The factory errors made this not a piece I will display.
