Sweetest PAK Reach figure!
Kat has always been my favourite, mostly because she rocks the Air Assault helmet i use for my custom Reach in game Noble 6 character, the fact she is cyan *(supposed to be) in game, and female! Because female Spartans rule!Kat's MJOLNIR Gen 2 armour colour is not quite game-accurate, she should be more of an aqua than the sky blue Play Arts painted her, yet it's no big deal. I suppose i could "TINT" her to appear more aqua coloured if i really wanted to, using some acrylic figure paint? Hmm...The sculpt and detailing is amazing beyond belief! If u are gentle, very gentle u can successfully pose her like the advertised photos on the box (see my image), yet do be careful, her leg came off twice! Thank the maker it snaps back into place just fine. Her height is scaled perfectly with the other PAK figures (except the H2 Anniversary MC which is about 2 inches taller, should only be 1 inch taller at the most), Kat is a tad bit shorter than the others which is fine and game-accurate. Overall I love this piece and convinced me to get all the other Reach figures in this line. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Still excellent despite minor production flaws
As stated, this figure is not perfect. The few flaws in mine were a result of the paint. There were a few locations where the blue paint used for the armor dripped onto other parts of the figure. However, these drips were very small and were mostly in hard to see locations. Additionally, since the armor is painted to have a worn or abused look to it anyway, imperfections do not look our of place. Those were the only flaws that I could find.My figure stands on its own, supports its own weight in many positions, and is very sturdy. All joints bend in a suitable manner, not very hard to articulate but also wont move on their own. I had none of the joint problems others describe. Everything worked and nothing broke or fell off. The weapons were done very well and are detailed. (The weapons do have permanent pegs for attaching to the figure, and these pegs are visible when they are held in the hands.) The armor is very detailed. The level of detail in this figure is amazing for the money. Especially the robotic right arm. I was amazed at the level of detail put into the robotic arm. On some figures the joints can also look out of place and make the figure look inhuman, but not with this figure (or any Spartan figure I would presume). Since the figure is completely covered in armor, the joints look just like a natural part of the armor. All in all, a great collectible for any fan of Halo or Halo Reach. This figure would be a little pricy for a toy, but it is great as part of a collection and it is detailed enough to be a display piece. A perfect reminder of fallen comrades!

Nicely large figure marred by quality control
So... I don't know if this'll apply to all copies of this figure, but the one I got had problems right off the bat. Its stupid to mention packaging status, but the torn box didn't instill confidence. At first glance, this is a lovely figure of Kat, nice and big, reminds me a little of the Halo 2 Master Chief figure that used to be around. The problems start with the plastic pop packaging for the small parts, especially the pistol. The weapons are designed to be holstered onto the figure's body, so there are small pegs that are incredibly flimsy due to whatever plastic that they used for those parts.Really wonderful detail on Kat, but the problems (at least for me) started with the ankle ball joint, which isn't incredibly obvious as to how you're supposed to pose them if they happen to be swiveled in the exactly wrong way from the word go, resulting in irreparable damage. Be sure to look at the lines on the ball joint before you try to start loosening it up.Its worth noting that the build overall, for its size and the type of plastic they decided to use, makes it feel incredibly flimsy and of poor quality, very deceptively so. The hip/leg joint for the left leg became instantly loose even though I was careful to handle its articulation. If you're the kind of person who's extra careful with his/her ball-joint figures, this might be worth getting to pose on your desk or whatever, but its clear that its not really meant to be played with or handled with even the slightest of stresses which is something of a shock considering other Play Arts figures I own. This is admittedly the first Kai figure I've ever purchased, but the weakness of joints and build quality is sorely disappointing.

Action figure lieutenant
Box had some sort of paint splashed on it disappointed with that. Figure detail like Spartans is excellent. Lieutenant comes with a extra set of hands an nice detailed assault rifle, a fragment grenade, and a pistol. Collector will like and children will love again realistic looking.
