Great little Ethernet switch
My home network is 1GB/s switches with 10GB/s switch to switch communication, all over cat 6. I purchased this switch along with 10Gtek 10GBase-T SFP+ to RJ-45 Transceiver. I'm impressed so far. It's outperforming my old switch (which did also have a 10GB/s port). With plenty of ports, I bonded 2 ethernet connections from my Synology NAS to this unmanaged switch using adaptive load balancing (this type of bonding doesn't require any special switch). Performance improvements are noticeable off my NAS as well.

The metal face has some very sharp pieces but it works great!
Great Bang For Buck switch. I removed one start for the face-plate. It has some very sharp edges. Cut my finger when trying to dust the front. No a big deal, just a small warning :)

Plug and play.
Attached the rack ears, slid it in place, plugged in my CAT6 and power cable, and was off to the races. Now I have plenty of room for future expansion on my home network.

The best cheapest 10gb management switch
I originally bought this switch for the 10gb sfp + capability. At this price that alone is a steal. The fan is audible but still stays pretty quiet, a far cry from the Cisco 3750 I was using. The web gui interface is fairly easy to use and has quite a bit of intuitive features. It can be a bit confusing setting up vlans and aggregation though so be sure to read the manual on the CD it comes with. I gave it 4 stars because the web gui is a bit bland and take some digging through settings to find what you want. Other than that I would definitely recommend this switch. If you don't need the web gui there is also a fanless plug and play model as well for $60-80 cheaper albeit having only 2 sfp+ ports instead of 4.

10g ports
I needed some 10gb ports for testing as well as to be able to isolate a 2nd network, and this was the write fit for my rack and the right price. I haven't stress tested it and I probably wont need to.

Perfect addition to my network.
I have hardwired my network, 18 ports, to work as a redundancy with my high streaming router. Fits great into my wall mounted rack.
