I'm glad I purchased this frame.
I almost did not purchase this frame due to the less than favorable reviews of it being flimsy. However, the more than favorable reviews led to my deciding to take a chance. I am glad I did. I was able to follow the directions to easily put the frame together. It does help to read ALL the instructions prior to assembly. I used a screw driver, a hammer and a pair of pliers to complete the frame. The wood is cut well, nicely finished and the holes for bolts and screws matched up perfectly.Though a bit wobbly, it is not detrimental to hooking. Most of the wobbliness can be corrected by tightening the wing nuts and setting the legs at a proper distance. I do wish it was shorter in length. I have had no problems with the nails holding the canvas (I did make sure that the nails were only a 1/4" above the rail). I love that it allows me to be able to organize my supplies and not have to continually unpack and repack everything to work on my project. I am very pleased with this product.

Great hook rug frame when modified
Not hard to assemble but directions were vague. When assembled the frame was too tall for sitting on a couch. (Would work fine if sitting on a chair but I like the couch.) So I measured and cut 7.5 inches off the legs, keeping the same original angle so the bottom of the legs were flat on the floor. Then I glued 4 inch furniture sliders to the bottom of the legs with white Gorilla glue. (The sliders have a plastic bottom and stiff foam upper that furniture rests on.) Now the frame slides easily on the carpet when needed to move it out of the way. Finally I used 1/2 inch tea cup hooks instead of the nails supplied. (I used a pair of pliers to crimp the hook closed before screwing onto the frame.) Finished one smaller rug and am part way through a much larger one that I wouldn't have attempted without the frame.

Nice rack, but kinda wobbly(read complete review)
Makes latch hooking way easier. And way cooler than sitting with a rug in your lap in the summerOnly issues, the yarn holders get covered up if you’re making something that’s wider than this rack. And because it is made to take down and set up it is very wobbly. Needs some cross supports.Oh did I mention, this thing is big.

Worked great.
This frame went together perfect. As the other reviews stated it was a little shaky, but you just need to tighten the wing nuts and it's fine for working on the latch hook rug. I found it especially useful on the last rows of the rug, I didn't not have any problems. Your not going to put anything other than the rug on it to work, so I don't see what everyone's problem was. I would encourage my friends to purchase this brand of frame, it is great.

Needs some modifications
Frame is easy to assemble and a nice quality of wood . It does need some reinforcement on the corners of the yarn holding box, a cross brace to prevent side to side movement and I replaced the brass brads, which all popped out on the first use, with slightly larger screws. With these modifications I like the frame and find it very useful for latch hooking larger projects.

Frank A Edmunds latch hook frame
First one was cracked and broken on arrival and was returned. A new one was sent within a couple of days. Very satisfied with the service and frame.

Very wobbly!
I purchased a large latch hook to work on over the holidays and needed a table to easily drap my project over. I ordered this one although it seemed pricey. The assembly instructions were poorly written and after stumbling along for well over an hour, I finally got it put together. It sways from side to side while working on the project and don't even ask me what its like to move it. I worry every time its going to collapse. To make it better it really needs a cross bar in the back of it to make it more sturdy and functional.

FAST SHIPPING AND EASY TO ASSEMBLE. MADE IN THE USA!
CAME MUCH FASTER THAN EXPECTED. IT WAS VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE WITH INSTRUCTIONS. IT TOOK LESS THAN 45 MINUTES. WOOD WAS ALL STRAIGHT AND FIRM. I PUT IT TOGETHER FOR THE LARGER RUGS, BUT YOU CAN PUT IT TOGETHER SMALLER FOR OTHER PROJECTS LIKE PILLOWS OR SMALL RUGS AND CHANGE IT AT ANY TIME AS THE PARTS YOU NEED TO REMOVE ARE BOLTS WITH WING NUTS. NO GLUE USED LIKE OTHER BRANDS WHICH MAKES THEM IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE SIZE BACK AND FORTH. ONCE ASSEMBLED, THE UNIT IS VERY STEADY. THE HEIGHT IS PERFECT FOR USING WITH A CHAIR OR COUCH TO SIT ON. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT TO ALL. STAY SAFE AND WEAR YOUR MASK WHENEVER OUT IN PUBLIC.SOUTH FLORIDA
