Bare Republic Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 Sunblock Spray, Sheer and Non-Greasy Finish, Vanilla Coco Scent, 6 Fl Oz

This is our go to sunscreen for summer! Our kids have very sensitive skin and we never get a reaction to this spray. We skip the sunburn and stock up!

I purchased this sunscreen because it’s suggested pregnant women use mineral based sunscreen. I prefer the spray kind so I got this one. Worst mistake ever.1) If you’re expecting a clear spray, it’s not. It sprays on like Elmers glue and DOES NOT RUB IN. This stuff is so thick and white you may as well roll around in a bucket of paint for the same effect.2) It says allergy friendly. Now I don’t have any skin sensitivities at all…except for apparently this sunscreen. I sprayed my legs and did my best to rub in what I could. When I got home from a day in the sun I took a look at my legs and they were covered in tons of hives and red spots! I immediately showered and scrubbed the still not soaked in sunscreen off of me and slathered my legs in cortisone cream. **The photo is the drastically improved look of my leg the next morning**The worst part here?! NO RETURNS. Because it’s an “aerosol” Amazon won’t take it back. So the lesson here is DO NOT BUY and avoid at all costs. I bought two of these sprays and they are now in the trash. Save your money. Turn and run the other direction.

This is the only sunscreen I'll use! I'm an avid, long distance swimmer, and it stays on for hours! Not to say I don't get some sun (or a small burn here and there), but I'm frequently in the water for 2+ hours. It's not sheer - you can tell it's there, but I'm okay with that. It's also reef safe, which is very important to me.

good product bu the nozel clogs easily if it sits around too long

It's probably common sense, but I use two of their products for my face, neck, and arms. I got out of my car and I noticed it was all over the driver's side door handle and the armrest. It comes off, but just realize it is going to get all over stuff. Works great, but I look like Casper after I put it on. The zinc makes you pasty white. :)

The product works and I like that it is mineral based. However, it sprays out too hard and gets little sprinkles of sunscreen all around that seems to stain clothing. It does not rub in well and leaves a light white film even after vigorous rubbing. We’ve had it for a few weeks and with a ton of product left in the can, the spray nozzle has clogged and become ineffective. Too bad, I liked the old spray and formula more.

We LOVE this sunscreen or rubs in nice and smells great BUT the nozzle clogs. Very frustrating for the price. I have 2 full bottles and can't get any of it out. Time to switch to a squeeze bottle and I might try again.

Firstly, I bought this expensive sunscreen because I have loved their other versions (matte tinted face and a previous coconut scented spray) but this sunscreen is the worst I have ever used. The spray comes out so thick and chunky if you've ever seen wall texture done, I'd say this is a solid orange peel. Then the pasty splatters are so difficult to spread, it turns my skin red from the friction. Finally, once you've given up smearing it, it remains a thick streaky white that settles into every crease like greasy paint that is embarrassingly visible on even my extremely fair skin (the photo doesn't hold a candle to the reality). I would not wear this in public and I will not even be wearing this around the yard despite the fact this was an expensive purchase for me. This has been an awful and disappointing experience and I would like my money back.
