PEN L1,（High CRI ≥98）335 Lumens Pen Light with USB rechargeable Li-ion battery，2AAA size

This Folomov PEN L1 is much smaller than my other penlights and has many more modes. From the moon light mode od 1/2 lumen all the way up to the 335 lumen turbo mode with three other steps in between ( 150, 40 and 8 lumen) The battery is fast and easy to charge with the supplied cable. The small metal box it is shipped in will make for great gift giving.This small, lightweight and handy size penlight will be easy to carry in scrubs, shirt pockets or a pants pocket.The color of the light offers a very high color rendering index. It is not the blue hot white but rather the warm day light tone that many will find very helpful.All in all, I am very happy and impressed with this light. First off, the emitter of this light is amazing. Wonderful warm 3000k tint. Perfect for searching around the house for things at night without being offensive. The UI is interesting too. Otherwise, I was quite dissatisfied with this purchase. Mode spacing is not spaced well at all, and moonlight is in sublumin territory. It's almost useless. I tested it in a completely dark room over a 15 minute period. At the end of the test with my eyes well adjusted, it was useless if you were working on a task more than 2½ feet away. The biggest problem was a false contact issue. Unless you tighten the tail cap with literally all your strength, it flickers like crazy. I'm also not a fan of the not-so-deep carry clip. However I knew this going in to this purchase and it's a matter of preference so it doesn't contribute to the rating. I paid about $14 for this light when it was on sale so I'm not too disappointed but I would have been very upset if I paid the full $40. Overall it's a fun toy and I'm happy to have it in my growing arsenal given I got it at less than half it's original price. I feel like Folomov will fix these issues in the future. It has a lot if potential and it would be sad if they gave up on it.

Update: After contacting the seller asking about a warranty they sent me a one line email back telling me to contact Folomov and ask for a replacement. They didn’t even provide contact details for Folomov (which aren’t easy to find). So good luck getting any support from the seller if you have a problem.This light is nice until it stops working. I bout it several months ago and only recently started carrying it daily. There appears to be a short somewhere in the light as I’m getting a lot of flickering when changing modes and the light sometimes cuts out completely for a half second or so before working again. If the light worked it would easily be a 4 or 5 star. Good brightness in a small package, UI is pretty easy to navigate and it has a lockout. But, not functioning properly is a big bummer.

Great little pen light for the price. Coloring is nice and doesn't make your eyes hurt if you're using it often. The overall light is pretty good on weight and the clip is pretty sturdy. I did have some minor issues with getting it to turn on when I first opened up the light but aside from that the light has been pretty reliable. I haven't tested the light's durability per say but I use it for work (construction) and it's held up pretty well so far.

Great color rendering, and good mode spacing. Fantastic led in this thing, with an included battery, makes this a steal

This would have been a moderately helpful tool in quality controlling woodwork, but the battery only recharged once before it quit working entirely.

Best pocket EDC pen light for everyday use. 3000K led along with high CRI of 98 allows you to see more than a regular white bulb. Highly recommend all of FOLOMOV's products.
