Small and non-intrusive but well made.

Could not figure out how to operate . Not used

After a rookie wiring mistake, i burnt up my original dash cam. Wasn't happy at all. so the search began. I thought to use my gopro-ish camera i got on one of those "auction" sites, but it just didn't work the way i needed. So back to Amazon to start anew. I read as many of the reviews as i could stand from both sides of the fence. I decided to take the chance on GOODTS Full HD 1080P Mini Car Camera and for the price, I could afford to give it a try.I didn't realize how small this dash cam is and with that small of a screen, well i wasn't feeling good about this purchase right off. I did a quick plug in check and my world changed. I couldn't believe all the different function and what i would be able to do. But the screen blew me away. It was clear and sharp, like a brand new flat screen tv. I have one of those golf cart mirrors that i just put in and then stuck the cam set up to the top of my windshield, then went to sit in the driver seat. Another big surprise!! It barely hangs below the mirror and didn't obstruct any of my view. I was sold right then and there. I ran the USB hardwired kit to my new switch. No more having to plug an unplug each trip doing my deliveries. After a full day of running around tow, i pulled the Micro SD card to see how it all looked on my computer and yup, I put in my Amazon cart, another GOODTS Full HD 1080P Mini Car Camera for the back window. I am impressed on how good the picture quality is and with all the functions, i can set it up the way I want not the way the factory says i have to. So if you want to get one of them bigger, fancier and pricier dash cams, then you'll be missing out big on a great little dash, the GOODTS Full HD 1080P Mini Car Camera Driving Recorder 1.5 inch Screen...

When I ordered this Dash Cam, I was unsure of what I was going to get, but after I received and installed it, I was blown away!! For the price I paid, I made out like a bandit. It is small but not too small, so it doesn't obstruct my view, I could run all the wire myself behind the roof line and plastic with the tool that came with it! You can choose what type of picture you want between 1080, 720 or the lowest which is like CVTV or something, to conserve space on the memory card. It has a motion sensor so it starts recording as soon a I turn on the car and move, as well as a parking guard setting which will record automatically while the car is off in case someone hits it or something! It also has a jolt setting which automatically locks a video clip if I am in an accident or something so it doesn't get recorded over once the memory card runs out of space, and in case you forget to lock it yourself!! It just has a ton of little settings and surprises, I am very impressed in the early days of installing it, we will have to see how it holds up over time though!! But if it's built with the same quality as the settings, I'd say it shouldn't be an issue, plus this company has great support if needed! ***I would recommend this product to anyone needing a dash camera, especially in this day and age of driving!! Also would recommend this product as a gift for someone, which I may buy a couple more as gifts!!!*** Thank you GOODTS!!!

Unfortunately after a couple of weeks of usage I regret I've purchased this camera.Here is why:1. The support e-mail given with the product has replied non of my questions/complains2. The camera produces high rate 15-30% of video files that can't been played on computerMore details below, shortly I would not recommend to purchase this product.I have sent several question/complains to the e-mail provided with the product, but unfortunately I haven't got even one reply. I've uploaded the problematic video files to the cloud, so support team can analyze the issues, but all my requests were just ignored.Missing of support is huge disadvantage.The main issue with the camera I found: it creates many files that can't be played on computer.(I'm using default Microsoft software on Win 10)With 1080p resolution the rate of unplayable files is ~ 30%With 720 p resolution the rate of unplayable files is ~ 15%(above figures are using supplied "original" SD card. Formatted of course)I'm using the camera to have an 'evidence' in case of need. Now, if I use 1 min video recording in 30 mins out of 100 mins my evidence will be unplayable, i.e. useless. So why bothering using this product?Below was my first impression of the product, is still valid, except I deeply unsatisfied with the product after checking the filmed videos on a computer.The product comes with a lot of useful accessories.It has both glass suction cup as well as adhesive holder.The power cable has sufficient length to route it in a hidden manner. Learn from the product manual how to hide the cable.The product expose all control buttons in easy accessible way. Same is true for the card: easy to insert and to remove.The small size of display is good, since it doesn’t obscure visibility.My first several recordings come clear and stable. Good detailed night shooting.So far I’m very satisfied with the product.

I bought this camera because I liked how small it is, I wanted a dash cam that I would not notice. I mounted it behind my rearview camera so I can't even see it. The cable that comes with the camera is very long, so it makes it easy to route in your car and hide. It does come with a little vinyl tool to help push the cable in and it also came with 4 pieces of sticky cable mounts. Mine for whatever reason were not really sticky so I just bought some from walmart but it was easy to route. The video quality is superb for how small the dash cam is too. I also like how if it detects any vibration, it will automatically turn on which is nice. Mine came with a 16gb SD card but I reached out to their support time and got it all taken care of. Good customer service.

Works great. Thought it would cover my whole windscreen but it doesn't quite, also the mount doesn't hold it secure as it falls off every now and then. Wouldn't suggest using the sticky clips to hold the extra cord down as they end up falling off.

The product was delivered to me way ahead of what was promised, which is impressive. The product looks like what's on the description. A small little camera that captures what you want. Awesome product.
