It’s a solid whistle and it’s very loud .I didn’t expect it to be that loud actually. Great purchase ! Will by again.

I am not sure that it could be heard inside the house if I fall outside---which is the reason I bought it. With my look I will break the plastic and it will have all been for nothing.

If you are looking for an ear piercing whistle, this is the whistle for you. It's LOUD so it's best to use it outdoors and be prepared for a shrill blast. I purchased it to warn people on the bike path. It's also designed so well (the attachment ring is thick) so it'll last a long time on a lanyard or key chain before the plastic attachment ring wears. The whistle lays flat (the previous one I had from a different company was bend at an angle), so it's not going to take up a lot of room if you have this on your key chain in your pocket. I would rate this an excellent purchase!

Great for kayak safety

Easy to blow and very loud. Small but easy to store.

Recently I purchased this product for myself and daughter. The whistle works great, Even a small breathe produces a decent sound. A large breath produces a very loud sound. Tested the whistle outside and my family was able to hear it inside the home. Works even better than a battery operated alarm I purchased as well. Plus there’s no need for batteries like my other alarm.

I do not like the fact that something I put my mouth on, was used. It clearly said returned on the box and wasn’t advertised as such.
