The old motor had seized up after 15 years, the new one works just fine.It looks like there were some manufacturing changes between the original motor and the replacement, and while I suppose this is expected to happen over the years I'm not sure if the design changes were to reduce costs or increase reliability(or both?)... Guess I'll find out when it finally fails.My only real complaint is the price. It's a lot of money for a little replacement motor, but if it lasts another 15 years it'll be well worth it.

Exact replacement, quiet
Got this to replace the motor in a 30-year-old Broan S90 mechanical ventilation fan. Specs are exactly the same, the replacement was simple and as a bonus the new motor is quieter than the old one.
