Why not tell us how much weight it will hold?
These hooks are about 4" long (the part that rests against the wall), 2" tall (the hook portion), and 1 1/4" deep (the space that holds whatever bags, straps or handles you put over the hook). Each hook, with its matching black screw and white plastic wall anchor, is packaged separately in a zip-lock bag. It's an attractive design, and the rustic aspect is seen in the lack of smoothness of the whole hook. The only thing that makes me a little unhappy is that it doesn't tell you how much weight the hook can actually hold. Never mind the size of it. It's large enough to hand a full backpack or full handbag, as well as a coat, umbrella, hat and cane. But is it strong enough? When I consider how heavy some backpacks are, I wonder. I don't want this ripping out of the wall because I've overloaded it. The screw is 3/4" long. If you're handy around the house, you might be able to calculate the weight it will bear. Otherwise, I like this and it goes with plenty of decor styles. I happen to have mid-century modern, with an emphasis on Scandinavian modern, and it works well with that. It would also work with country, Tudor, and the like.

Nice Iron Hooks. Perfect For DIY Projects.
A few years ago i bought a pack of black iron hooks very similar to these, took a reclaimed board, attached them with a Texas star in the middle, and hung it up near my door for coats, hats, and whatever. Ever since then, friends, and whoever happens to be in the house and notices it, asks us where we got it at. Since the time that i made that first coat rack, I've probably made at least 15 more for family and friends that wanted one just like it. It's nothing fancy, just has that old farmhouse look that a lot of people like. These hooks are perfect for this, and so much more. I ordered them to make another rack, and to compare them to the hooks i usually order, which are about $5 more for the same quantity. There is virtually no difference other than a slightly different curve near the tip of the hook, nothing that will make a difference to anything. They are practically the same size, only a 1/4" difference, same color, and same thickness. These are a nice strong hook for what i am going to use them for, and will most likely be able to hold much more if you are looking to use them for a purpose where some strength may be required. For DIY people needing black iron hooks, these should be on your short list. They are well worth the money.

Very nice!
I got the small hooks and these larger 4 inch hooks. I love them both. The small ones I used to hang some baskets to the wall. I am taking off one star on the large hooks because the larger hooks come with the same sort screws as the small hooks. The short screws will not hold as much weight. These are good screws as the black paint stays on them even when you use a screw driver on them.

Terrific rustic wrought-iron hooks, perfect for hanging things from a mantle
I love these THDC Single Prong Wrought Iron Hooks! I really had no idea where I'd end up hanging them when I ordered them, but the minute that I opened the package I knew they were going to hang from my big mantle in my den. These are just perfect for hanging decorations or Christmas stockings. These hooks look so colonial and rustic and they are beautifully finished. It's easy to believe these are hand forged, they just have that quality feel to them.I also like to hang things in plain sight in my kitchen and I think I'll order an extra set of these for the kitchen tools. They come with a small screw and so to mount than all you have to do is drill a small pilot hole and then screw them in place--very simple. I put mine up in about five minutes each or less. Very sweet and I just love the colonial look.
