Sony WHXB900N Noise Cancelling Headphones, Wireless Bluetooth Over the Ear Headset - Blue (Amazon Exclusive)

I love these headphones. Got them during Cyber Monday, so I got them for a good deal.The sound in them is great and in my opinion is comparable to Dolby quality. I have yet to hear a problem with the audio on them.The battery life on these is AWESOME! I can use them for 1-4 hours and just use AT MOST 20-30% of the battery, with semi-heavy use.Also, unlike some Bluetooth headphones, these can be used over a good distance without having to move your phone or other device that it is connected to. Also, it has Google and Alexa compatibility, so you can use them when you have your phone on you (which is nice).My only problems with these are as follows:1. I don't like the touch controls. There is no other way, besides using Alexa or Google, to change the volume or skip a song. I have also found the touch controls to be a little inconsistent when you try and use them. Maybe I'm using them wrong, but it just doesn't feel natural.2. I have found that sometimes the noise cancellation isn't the best and cuts in and out in certain environments.Overall, great headphones! These are awesome headphones and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to get a good pair of Bluetooth headphones with smart assistant capability an great sound.

I purchased these headphones as my first entry into the world of "good, noise cancelling headphones". Before this pair, my max spend on headphones would be around $25-50 (and that'd be stretching it) The ones I have had before would have decent sound, nothing amazing but still decent nonetheless and noise cancelling would be a complete joke.My office environment is fairly noisy and I commute on a light rail to and from work. In addition to that I was looking for something that produced better sound so I could better tune out the distractions and focus on my work. I didn't have the money for the top-of-the line headphones (such as the Sony WH-1000XM3) so my review won't be comparing these headphones to the top of line ones.I don't like how you have to reset the bluetooth sync every time you connect to a new device, but I compensate for that by only listening to them via bluetooth on my phone and I hard wire them into my computer by an audio cable. I do want to mention that the audio quality is far superior on my phone then on the computer as a result of the phone app, but my computer is a work supplied computer for work and not for listening to music so the audio is baseline at best. If we were to upgrade the audio card on the computer I'm confident it would be far better experience.I wish that there was some sort of water proofing, especially for the price I paid. I also wish that bluetooth paired better between devices as I would love to listen to other devices using these headphones.I've had some issues with phone calls while using these, the wind noise is much more pronounced and the mics tend to pick up everything around me. I once made the mistake of talking on a phone in the stairs and the quality was soooo poor that the support representative of the company I was talking to just hung up after telling me to call back cause he couldn't understand me hahaha (I have had many successful phone calls in the same stairs so I know it was the headphones). I do feel like I'm yelling when I'm using these phones I feel much more self conscious then I did with my previous headphones I used for phone callsThe sound quality of these, especially when used on my phone with the sony headphone app on it, is AMAZING great Bass replication, the highs are not piercing as well. It is a truly enjoyable experience.Overall, I really enjoy these headphones. The sound quality is incredible, the noise cancellation is exactly what I was hoping for, and if I have something playing through the headphones (music, movie, audio of some sort) you hardly hear anything but your audio which is incredible! There have been times that I just listen to nothing and use them to help keep the office quieter.I absolutely do not regret getting these.

I was hesitant to spend $200 on a set of headphones, but I'm glad I splurged. It feels great not to have to untangle a wire every time I want to listen to something, and the noise cancelling makes a welcome difference when I'm between classes at my university. If the "Extra Bass" makes you question if these are right for you, you might want to look elsewhere, but I find that these provide a rich sound in the low end without overpowering higher notes, at least without any additional equalizer tweaks.While the noise cancellation is good, don't expect miracles. If I'm listening to something quiet, or there's a particularly loud noise, I can still hear the outside world. On the other hand, wind can be a real issue when wearing these outside. The noise cancellation's attempt to counter the wind really just ends up with me hearing the wind blowing through the microphones, in which case it's better to just turn it off. The ambient sound pass-through mode is good in theory, but in practice you'll have to turn down your music volume for it to make much difference. Thankfully, putting your hand over the right earcup lowers your music volume and automatically turns on ambient sound mode, which is incredibly convenient when you need to listen to someone briefly without having to take them off your ears or pause your music.The battery life is as good as promised, it feels like I never need to charge them. That's good, since while these headphones have a 3.5 mm cable jack, and they support passive audio, the sound quality is absolutely terrible without the battery charged and the set powered on. When I say it's bad, I mean it's worse than any $15 pair of cheap earbuds, which is really disappointing.

Opinión general: Voy a comenzar escribiendo que el bass no es lo que más me gusta en la música ni los audífonos, más bien lo contrario, entonces, ¿por qué compré estos audífonos? Una razón principal: no me alcanzaba para los más caros. La cuestión es que a pesar de que la firma de sonido sea con graves bastante pronunciados y que si eso no te gusta la vas a pasar muy mal, sony ha hecho un excelente trabajo en darle versatilidad a sus equipos. Con esto me refiero a que los audífonos los puedes ecualizar en tu teléfono con la aplicación de sony y de esa manera obtener un sonido como el que a ti te gusta. En mi caso, reduje el bass muchísimo y aumenté las frecuencias medias y altas para obtener un sonido que me encanta. Actualmente con la aplicación de sony headphones es incluso más fácil obtener un ecualizado personalizado ya que han agregado una función nueva para ello. En definitiva, estoy contento con los audífonos porque la pila es algo que nunca me preocupa, su sonido es excelente y su durabilidad ha sido prolongada. Luego de dos años de tenerlos únicamente las gomas han comenzado a descarapelarse un poco, pero es entendible por la cantidad de uso que les doy.Pros: excelente sonido, bateria, diseño y durabilidad.Contras: son cansados para escucharlos por periodos muy prolongados o con lentes. Si no te gusta el bass y no puedes configurar el ecualizador, la vas a pasar mal.

Maravilloso producto, cuenta con la calidad que caracteriza a SonySon bastante cómodos y livianos, la batería puede durar días si se usa con un promedio de 2 horas ininterrumpidas, incluye cable 3.5 mm sin embargo la calidad de este no es tan buena, hay mejores opciones en Amazon, incluye funda suave para transportarlos, misma que es mejor sustituirla para evitar que se arruinen los audífonos en caso de caídas.En cuanto al sonido es bastante bueno, cuenta con 2 sistemas de aislamiento de ruido, los cuales son Ambient Sound y Noise Cancelling, ambos otorgan una sensación diferente, sin embargo el mejor es Noise Cancelling.Si estás escuchando música y requieres escuchar tu entorno, sólo con poner la palma de tu mano en el auricular derecho, la música disminuirá y se activará el micrófono para que el sonido ambiental aumente, esto se me hace bastante útil a la hora de estar en algún lugar y si alguien te pregunta algo puedes responder sin necesidad de ponerle pausa.Sus controles de Play/Pause así como de Volume +/- y cambio de canciones son táctiles y se encuentran en el auricular derecho, los hace una gran y útil ventaja.Cuentan con su aplicación para iOS y Android, la cual te permite modificar el tipo de sonido que estarán reproduciendo, si bien las opciones son limitadas y ya están establecidas, sirven bastante si quieres potenciar los bajos o los agudos de la música, también cuenta con ecualizador y con opciones para modular el Noise Cancelling dependiendo del lugar (GPS).Altamente recomendables.

El sonido es muy bueno, sobre todo los bajos, la apreciación dependerá de para que lo quieres, si eres audiófilo quizá estos no sean para ti y te vendrían mejor unos xm3 o 4.En éstos audífonos predomina un bajeo profundo y si es para eso que los quieres son excelentes. La cancelación de ruido un "buena" a secas, no es su punto fuerte, por ejemplo el sonido de un minisplit o un ventilador lo cancela bien, pero si alguien te habla o el ruido de un auto eso si que no, sin embargo ya con música si que no pasa nada de ruido, pero sí, la cancelación de ruido no es su fuerte. La batería dura muchísimo, de acuerdo al uso que le des, le he sacado entre 28 y 32 hrs, hace un mes que los compré y apenas es la segunda vez que los cargo y eso que no es que me he quedado sin batería totalmente. Los controles tactiles funcionan bien y los materiales de construcción no son los más premium, pero por lo que cuestan me parecen unos audífonos redondos.

La ejecución es buena, son cómodos, los controles táctiles son fáciles y precisos, son preciosos, y la aplicación de SONY les da un plus que yo creo es su salvación, ya que el sonido, sinceramente, me decepcionó un poco.Y sé que éstos audífonos están enfocados a bajos, y tomando en cuenta eso es que me decepcionaron, al principio los escuché bastante normales, un sonido acorde al precio, pero una vez que configuras los bajos en la aplicación todo cambia. Si quieres una experiencia buena de bajos, no los pongas al máximo, ni siquiera a la mitad de su potencia, ya que en lo personal, el sonido llega a ser muy molesto, y no se disfruta incluso si eres amante de las frecuencias graves. Algo que también noté es que para escuchar todo el poder de los bajos, tendrás que tener el volumen al más alto nivel, ya que si empiezas a bajar de volumen, los graves se pierden rápidamente, más de lo que me gustaría.Como dije, no todo es malo en estos audífonos, con la app puedes hacer maravillas si tienes paciencia en ecualizarlos a tu gusto, pero aún con todo eso, no se merecen 5 estrellas.
