Neti pots should be in everyone’s first aid kit
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was a gift for a friend who was suffering from allergies. He mows lawns for his neighbors. He used it and received relief from his allergies and was happy to have it. Product was exactly as described and it arrived in excellent condition.

Smaller than expected, but can be made to work
Likes: dishwasher and microwave-safe.Dislikes: smaller than the plastic neti pot I used to use, much smaller. Holds less than 8 oz. of water. Have to warm water and salts in a glass measuring cup, then use the mixture in two portions so that I get the correct amount without most of it spilling all over the place before I even get it up to my nostrils. Makes the microwave-safe feature a moot point. But I very much like that I can clean and sanitize it in the dishwasher, unlike the other plastic one -- which, incidentally, eventually split and cracked due to microwave heating. I bought this one to avoid that problem.

look elsewhere, super cheap, not white, not returnable!
Ordered this to replace a really nice white, ceramic neti pot I accidently broke. The pot is NOT white, it's gray with blue streaks, way too large, super cheap looking, don't waste your money. And worse, it was not opened or used and they refused a return and refund. They're obviously using seconds, left over clay and trying to pass it off as shown, which it's not! You're better off buying off Amazon - Himalaya Institute (my old pot) has something way better for a few dollars more.

Why was I EVER scared of using a neti pot??!!
As a person who swims, I've always been focused on keeping water OUT of my nose, and the thought of running saline through my head was a big freak out for me. Eight years ago I moved to a place that's practically an oak forest (not to mention the rag weed) and my allergy sufferings have increased every year. Finally, I was desperate enough to try anything, and bought the neti. It really cleans out my sinuses and to my pleasant surprise, I didn't choke to death or die by drowning. It is such a WONDERFUL product. Just remember, NO TAP WATER straight from the tap. I use water that's been double filtered, boiled and cooled, and then I stir in ¼ teaspoon of Himalayan salt and ¼ tsp of baking soda.I CAN BREATHE, PEOPLE!! It's so wonderful!Kitty Jordan Hiatt
