Mehr Classic Leather Valet Key Chain & Key Rings | Elegant, Timeless, Multi-ring Keychain - Red

I live in a condo, and sometimes I am unable to self park. When I have to go through valet, I find it very easy to give them my car key only, and still keep my other keys I need to get into my unit and my mailbox.

Easy to separate valet key that is simple and functional. Would like some colors beyond red and black.

For $10, this is worth the price. Leather is very stiff & hard but I like it that way, because it looks new all the time (not creased). I use it for my car key & the 2 extra rings that came with it were medium-sized. I wish there was a smaller ring included since the chrome loop of the key chain has flat edges and my car key doesn't fit in it while the extra (medium-sized) ring is thinner so it fits the head of the car key. Only downside, it became longer. If it's a tad smaller, key chain won't touch my leg while driving. All in all, I am very happy with the quality and look of it. I would never mistake it for $10. Good buy.PS, someone asked if it fits a belt. It does for a 1-1/2 inches thick men's belt.

I once read that criminals with access to your keys can copy your house key and get your address from your registration and rob you later. So as a rule, when I have to leave my car keys with someone (car wash, oil change place, etc.) I don't leave my house key or other keys with them. I also keep a USB drive and a USB key (needed to access my most secure sites such as my password manager and my home network) on my key ring. I got this key chain to make it easy to quickly remove and re-add keys and my USB devices. Plus it looks really good and isn't real bulky.

There are a few Mehr leather key chains that Amazon sells. I bought the,Mehr 3048s Leather Valet Keychain - Detachable Key Chain & Keyrings (Turquoise Blue and Red). The red leather on the first design is not as sturdy as the turquoise.I also bought the Mehr Classic Leather Valet Key Chain & Key Rings | Elegant, Timeless, Multi-Ring Keychain - Red. This design is s little smaller, yet very elegant. The red leather on this design is sturdy and a deep red! You may have to order both to decide!

This keyring is very nicely made! It's solid, extremely functional and so far, I love it. The presentation box was beautiful and well designed. I had a detachable keyring made by Coach that constantly came apart and I was always worried that I would lose half my keys! The design of this keyring would make an accidental separation almost impossible. I have 4 stars because the leather loop could and should be larger. I have small hands and feel it's too small.

Got this June 4th 2015It did not take long for the strap to come completely off. Out of the package it did seem like the strap didn't get properly placed during manufacturing. Where the strap connects to the actual ring there are two holes and those holes are anchored onto the ring by two little nut things. On the key chain I received only one of the holes was actually secured. On day two one of the nuts started coming out and eventually the other did as well. Then, a couple weeks later of being as gentle as possible with it, the strap completely came out and was lost. I don't buy key chains often this is actually the only one so I don't know of any other one that is better.

At first I was very satisfied with this product.It's a great looking keyringThe keychain metal is high quality.The leather strap is also very nice.I like the thick metal ring for attaching to a key ring.It is spring loaded and it works well.However, I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars because after about a week of owning it, it broke (partially).There are two small screws which affix the leather strap onto the metal keyring.One of these micro screws fell out and I have no idea where it went.The other screw is still in place and therefor so is the leather strap.But it appears like the leather can separate from the metal at any moment.
