Size:2 Pack  |  Color:1x Choc.mint 1x Citrus MealEnders are drug- and stimulant-free "Signaling Lozenges" designed to help people avoid overeating, curb snacking, and master portion control by ridding the mouth and mind of the desire to eat more than needed. They provide a practical and easy way to avoid excess calories without yo-yo deprivation dieting or the drugs, fillers, or stimulants used in most products. MealEnders employ behavioral psychology and sensory science to help you take control of what and when you eat. A creamy, sweet outer layer cues the end of a meal and satisfies cravings. It melts away to a hard center that delivers long-lasting cooling and tingling flavor sensations that clear the palate and transition your focus away from eating until your natural fullness signals set in. Over time, they can promote more mindful eating and help the body adjust to appropriate portion sizes for natural portion control. In a study conducted by a top US university, participants reported cutting an average of 231 calories/day while using MealEnders with no increase in hunger. Participants exhibited more mindfulness in their eating habits at the end of the study. MealEnders are made from high-quality, food-based ingredients and can be taken anytime or anywhere to support any diet plan or calorie reduction program. MealEnders are a safe and sustainable way to curb your appetite: - No drugs - No added stimulants - No herbs - Gluten free - No artificial sweeteners - Low sodium - Kosher We realize that flavor and sensory perceptions vary, making MealEnders more or less appealing or effective for different individuals. Shark Bites!
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical after watching Shark Tank and seeing what the panel had to say about the taste. But I thought for $17.00 bucks, let me try it. What do I have to lose? WEIGHT!! That's what! So I purchased a bag of Mocha favored lozenges. I was feeling a little peckish after lunch, so I popped one in my mouth. Outer layer - Yummy! Now for the inside flavor. I knew it was going to be tingly, but from the look of the Sharks faces, I was waiting for that moment when it became intolerable. Never happened. It didn't have much of a flavor at all - just a sensation. I finished the entire thing and I have zero desire to eat. Whatever the flavor is in my mouth, maybe it's not compatible with anything in my fridge - so I'm fine just sitting here and letting my fingertips get some exercise.

Not for flavor junkies, might work for binge eaters but so might a cough drop
I suspected these wouldn't work for me. My problem is a a need for constant flavor, so I'm attracted to sweets before bed. I don't generally have trouble avoiding seconds at supper because I half-heartedly meal prep and follow with a piece of gum, but the holidays are coming up so we decided to try these as well as Sugar Suppress, which turns of the sweet receptors on your tongue. After I tried this one, my husband didn't bother.I bought chocolate mint. They start out tasting like the chocolate coating on a chocolate-covered raisin, then they taste/feel like hot Chloraseptic. It took a long time to dissolve and I found the process unpleasant. The second day I tried it I wanted to eat something to fix my tongue, because, like I said, I'm a flavor junkie rather than a binge eater, so it ended up having the opposite intended effect. If you need some Pavlovian training to signal the end of a meal for the holidays because you lean binge rather than flavor, I can see these working, but I really think if these were going to work for you, some chocolate chips and the worst-tasting cough drop you can find might also work, or a swig of 100% cranberry juice, or some black licorice if you hate black licorice. Or actual Chloraseptic. (If they don't make you want to swish out your mouth with a milkshake, that is.) One thing they have going for them is they come individually-wrapped and you'll be able to sneak one at Thanksgiving without your breath getting weirdly cough-droppy.If you binge eat because of some other reason besides the 20-minute rule, they're probably not going to work. You might need to schedule something right after meals to actively occupy your mind or body, instead. These didn't change the way anything tastes, from the little I tried while it was active. I had better luck avoiding sweets after 7PM with the Sweet Suppress, and that one is only unpleasant for a minute.(Yeah, I know there's a money-back guarantee, but I'm sure I must know someone they might work for, so I'm going to scatter the remainder among friends and family who might want free trials.)

Works!
These work well in stopping the urge to continue eating. The inside tastes horrible and coats your mouth so you don't want to eat or drink anything else. I usually spit them out before they are done. I still gave them a 5 star rating and I am going to buy my second bag because the chocolate is rewarding even though the inner candy is terrible.

It works
Saw rhis product on Shark Tank. My 36 year old daughter proceeded to buy it. She experimented with it by eating a 1/2 size lunch portion each day followed by a lozenge and immediately felt satified with no further hunger cravings - she's sold.

These work for me.
Yes, maybe someone with self control could get the same benefit from a piece of hard candy or a hershey's kiss but if I had any self control, I wouldn't be overweight. So far I have tried the mocha flavor and I find that I really enjoy the taste of the mocha outside layer and I am not deterred by the hard inner layer that tingles and makes my tongue slightly numb. While I may eat the entire bag in one sitting of the hard candy or hershey's kisses, I don't think I would ever eat more than one of these in a row. Not that I don't enjoy my Mealender, but they aren't so delicious I would want to. I can see where it is a mind/body connection. You get the sweetness of dessert and then the hard inner layer lasts for the time it takes for your body to catch up to your mind and tell you that you are satisfied with your meal. There is also the clean, tingling, numbing quality that makes anything else you try to eat taste "off". I actually haven't eaten anything but I have taken a drink of water, diet soda or iced tea and there is a definite taste difference. It's not a nasty flavor but it doesn't taste like much of anything after the Mealender has dissolved. I believe the "mind" part of this is that you are training yourself that when you have your Mealender, you are DONE eating. Kind of like Pavlov's dog experience. I have not changed what I eat, I just have one portion size of each item and then I have my Mealender. My issue is not so much of what I eat but how much. I can overeat the good stuff too. I will eat past the feeling of fullness. Mealenders have helped stop this. Give the flavors a try until you find the one you like best, keep and open mind and see how they work for you. They are working for me.
