Great for beginners, fun kit. Only three bundles of Paracord were glow in the dark, other colors do not glow. Glow in the dark Paracord is a pretty pale blue, instructions were clear too. The only braid the instructions had is the Cobra braid, but other macrame stitches/braids can be found online. Pictured is a bracelet I made with the glow in the dark Paracord, and a nice aqua blue. Used a more advanced lanyard stitch, the butterfly stitch.

My 8 and 10yo boys loved making these paracord bracelets. The instructions were hard for them to understand so I had to read them and show them the steps. Additionally the “holder” on the box doesn’t work. We ended up taping the bracelet to the ground so it was secure and they could make itThis kit comes with glue to secure the cord after you cut it. The glue doesn’t work, I found that using a lighter to melt the cord was the only way to secure it but obviously that’s not something I’d allow my boys to do so this kit while fun does require a lot of parent involvement.

I gave this to my 12 year old as an easter basket filler. Hard to know what to get boys that age but he liked this and he was able to make them with very little help (I just helped him get the cord on the hooks and sized right then cut, burnt, and glued the ends when he finished). He was proud of his creations.

My boys have been sick and I wanted to reward them for being such great patients. They had been looking at youtube tutorials for paracord bracelets but we didn't have this or that and they were frustrated. This kit had everything we needed to make 8 really cool bracelets! My 8 year old picked it up instantly and my 6 year old would have too, but I decided to help and he enjoys when I do things with him so we did it together. I would recommend measuring to wrist at the step where you unclip the second clip (I think it was step 3) to make sure the length is right. The first one we made was huge for my smaller guys and they wanted them to fit without falling off. I will say it was easy to undo and remake it. Also, instead of glue we just torched the ends quick to keep them in place. We only just made them today so I can't attest to their durability but they seem pretty rugged! Using the side of the box to help hold it while making them seemed so silly when I watched the info video but it was really useful and made it much easier! I would buy this again. I would definitely buy it as a gift too!

These were a super fun and easy project for my 8 year old to make for friendship bracelets for his friends at school. He really enjoyed making them, after making one with help from an adult he was able to make more by himself with very little frustration and errors. The glow in the dark isn't fantastic, but it's enough to make them a bit cooler than the regular paracord. His only thumb's down is that there was only 3 skeins of glow cord and he wished for more, everything else about these got a huge double thumb's up!

It says it’s for kids, but honestly my 7 year old wasn’t able to do it on her own. My husband and I tried it and it was hard to follow the instructions but after long patiences and practice we got it to work but we are the ones making the bracelets not our daughter who we bought it for a birthday gift

Loved this and have ordered a second! Bought this for my 10 and 7 year old sporty boys, neither are super crafty or sit stilly but they had fun choosing their color combinations and making one for every member of the family (including the dog). It took me a little figuring out (they could not have done it themselves) but I got there and they picked it up fast once we got going. I had to start each bracelet off and glue and clip it at the end but they did the rest. We ordered another kit because it was good value and good fun and kept them off their screens for a good chunk of time. They’re going to make some for friends. Nice activity for mum and son time and cool bracelets at the end of it.

My daughter really enjoyed this set and made 8 bracelets from it. The cord is thick and strong and makes a good heavy duty bracelet, the plastic clips are strong enough to last and the clever box design helps to explain what to do and holds the end to make it easier. The finished result is pretty smart, good enough for both kids and adults to wear.
