It does what it says, but it's just a G2 gateway in an oaks box. Save $25 and get a generic G2 hub that will literally be the same thing. There is no oaks branding on the device itself and it is no different.Constantly says low signal strength, no matter how close to the lock and router.

I purchase this gateway to pair with my Oaks Lock. It was less than 18 inches from the door lock and less than 4 feet from the wifi router. But it was unable to pair with the lock of find a wifi signal, I sent it back and replaced it with the Sifely gateway which was $25 cheaper and worked flawlessly.

This is a decent product with a lot of potential, it just falls a little short of my expectations.First, I had issues installing it and could not get it to work. Getting a hold of customer service is terrible. They only have "chat" customer service online. After working on it for 2 days, I discovered the batteries that came with the lock were dead. These were supposed to be brand new batteries and customer service never once suggested I change them out.Once installed, I do like most of the features. The one thing I do not like is the keypad. It takes a few touches to "wake" it.I am not sure if its normal, but I had to replace the batteries again after only a month of use.I really like the other features since I put this on my second home. I have already used some of the remote features which work great.In summary, now that I have it installed, I do like it with the exception of the keypad and battery life.

It never connects properly with the app. Has connectivity problems ALL THE TIME, even thou it’s a few feet of the lock and the router the signal is always “weak”. Won’t recommend buying it, go with another option or brand.

Sent me a FAKE - NOT genuine OAKS lock and NO packaging, cables, plug or instructions. just a white square. Do not buy, it doesn't even work.
