I bought 8 of these in order to combine them and make 2 large sheaves of grain. I laughed at the other review complaining of bugs, dirt, etc. These ARE real wheat stalks...and I'm sure they were cut and brought in from the fields. So... what do you expect? I just unwrapped them in my garage and kept them outside in the winter cold for a few days (out of rain and wind, of course!). The bugs will die or go away. Actually, mine didn't have any bugs that I saw... just loose wheat kernels here and there. I plan on spraying them with a clear preservative eventually... that'll kill anything that might be left and keep them a little safer over the years. Cool product!

Honestly, born and living in city I have never seen a real wheat sheaves before. It's a combination of two color, one is golden and another light straw color. Perhaps that's why they looked so natural. I placed them in the jug at kitchen counter top, next to it are bottles of macaroni, pasta and spaghetti. It just stands out perfectly with such combination. I bought 100 pieces cause i wanted to create a bountiful appearance. Price is reasonable.

The wheat arrived in a box and neatly bound with string such that the stalks are pinched in the middle and splay out slightly at the bottom. In a cylindrical vase, this adds a nice appearance. The condition of the wheat was good with little debris or deterioration.

Well.... I purchased this item for a permanent prop. There was not as many stems as they said there would be. And when I opened the package, a bunch of the tips were broken off inside the bag. I thought it was going to be a bit larger but nope. I'm going to make it work.

I needed the wheat for a middle school wheat weaving project. It worked great. The wheat was hearty enough to withstand the weaving and the wheat heads stayed intact and looked full. I would recommend this product and will buy again if I need more for weaving.

These were such a great addition for my Friendsgiving table decor! I threw them in mason jars for the table and I think they added a very nice touch. I didn’t experience any of the moth infestation things that some people seemed to and am very satisfied and happy with my purchase! Would buy again if needed.

So disgusting, there were so many dead bugs in the packaging. Worst part is there were some still alive, shortly after the package arrived we had an uptick in bugs in our house in a specific area. Originally I thought it maybe an influx from outside, a week after the package arrived I opened it and found the dead inside the packaging along others that were alive, apparently some had made it out of the unsealed bag. Discarded immediately, complete waste of money.
