Cinetics Two Axis360 Pro Motorized Slider, Track, Pan, Tilt

The reason I purchased the Axis 360 instead of a unit from a different manufacturer (like Konova or Varavon) is because of customer service.I did a little research on all three and just simply felt more comfortable purchasing from Cinetics given that they are very responsive on their website's forum and are accessible on pretty much on every social media platform.In all fairness, Konova and Varavon might be just as responsive and helpful with their customer service but the kicker for me was that Cinetics is based in the U.S and the other two are not.As for the unit itself, it's awesome. Just go watch some YouTube videos which showcase it and see for yourself. I'll be making and posting one of my own soon.

Not smooth operation and motors are noisy

The quality of the build is perfect. Everything is extremely sturdy. However, the motors are so loud that I don't even think I can use this when filming anything that requires audio. I really would have loved to have the option for a loop setting when filming interviews for example. So this seems purely as a timelapse slider, which brings me to another point. In purchasing this slider her on Amazon I was not able to purchase the cable to connect my camera to the controller and using a third party intervalometer is not ideal as compared to having the motors know exactly when not to move. I really am disappointed. I'm trying to decide if I should return this or not. Very bitter sweet because of the quality being so good. I would have loved this product if the motors were much quieter....After 1 week of testing this product I discovered that the second motor I received has a manufacturing defect. The screw part of the top of the motor that you screw all the parts on is actually smaller than the other motor I received. It is noticeably shorter!!! This now does not allow me to attach either of the quick release mounts on this motor. I CANT USE THE SECOND MOTOR!!! I did email Cinetics and they did respond quickly (within 24 hours) and they asked me to send them the motor so they can try and repair it. So now I'm either getting a refurbished motor or HOPEFULLY they replace with a totally new motor. I will be extremely angry if I receive a refurbished motor. I did not damage the motor and it is clearly defected... I will continue to update....I may return this product....
