Klement'sOriginal Summer Sausage, Hardwood Smoked 2 Pounds

Looking at the picture and the weight I couldn’t be sure of the size of the stick. Going by memory (yep it is long gone) it is about 10 inches long and diameter of 2 or 2 and 1/2 inches. So a good buy. The flavor was that of a good summer sausage. Not overly salty. Good spice. Firm. I just enjoyed it. Tried to ration it out but that didn’t slow my consumption of this summer sausage.

I liked this product and will be buying again. It reminds me of the summer sausage that my mom would buy when I was young.

Good price. Reviewers complaining calling it "mooshy" or "too salty" need to realize this is SUMMER SAUSAGE, NOT their fatty Hard Salami that tastes like a mildewed old shoe. Firmness is on par with other Summer Sausages I've purchased. Flavor is kind of bland when cold, not very smokey. I don't find it "greasy" at all. The flavor really wakes up when it is fried in a pan. For reference I'm used to the Johnsonville brand of strong flavor when cold.

Great sausage, great service

This stuff must be at least 50% fat. Loaded with grease and little flavor. I really am surprised that any company would sell this stuff. I cut off 4 small slices and fried them in a skillet to try to get rid of some of the fat and I was shocked with the amount of fat left in the pan. Not to mention the stuff was still greasy.Did I mention that it is also VERY salt laden.Definitely DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF

It goes well with crackers. I have also put it on pizza.

The sausage was flavored good,however, we found it tone really greasy.

Tastes great. And product is true to description.
