Q: is this item easy to use and most important does it taste like a white sauce without weird spices

It is extremely easy to use - even for me - and it really tastes like a white sauce from Knorr or Maggi, which, unfortunately I haven't found yet in the US.

Q: what are the ingredients? What needs to be added by the cook?

Bechamel is basically a roux (milk, flour, butter). This is dehydrated bechamel and you add to heated milk.

Q: Does anyone have the instructions in English?

Easy to use, great product, especially since Bechamel sauce mix is no longer easy to find. This is very simple to use. For anyone not familiar with basic french, 1/2 litre de lait is two cups of milk, and 6 cuillères means 6 tablespoons. For the two of us, I bring one cup of milk to a boil, gradually stir in 3-4 tbsp of the powder (directions say to take the pan off the heat, but I usually don't bother). then let simmer for about two minutes while stirring, until desired thickness.
