A Huge Fan Of Snow Clogs
I bought the original model of the Snow Clog back in the late 1990’s. Best footwear purchase I ever made. I literally wore them daily when there was snow or slush on the ground, which is often here in Michigan. I still have them, but the lugs are finally worn down.I started looking for a replacement a few years ago and was really disappointed to find that Snow Clogs apparently were no longer being made by Salomon. I was absolutely shocked to find these available. It’s only October, so I have not had a chance to put these through the test in the snow. My initial impression is that they are comfortable. Sizing is about a half size too small. I normally wear 9.5’s but the 9.5 was too tight. This is made worse if you wear thick, winter socks. They seem to be made of high quality materials, but they don’t have the lasting feel of the originals. Time will tell though. The way I intend on using these is to wear them in lieu of boots. I don’t much care that they’re not over the ankle. That was never a problem for me before. Dog walks, shoveling my driveway, and navigating slushy parking lots will be the torture I put them through. Perhaps unfair for a slip on shoe, but they are made for the snow. I will update my review once I get to use them in the snow. It will be interesting to see if they’re as waterproof and insulated as my 20 year old clogs. I have high hopes.UPDATE: It's now mid-February and I've been wearing these quite a bit lately as we've had plenty of days of snow. Unfortunately, they're not quite living up to my high hopes. They are very comfortable and look like a regular pair of shoes. You can wear these in typical workday casual settings. I wear them with khaki pants at work when snow is either on the ground or expected. Where I'm disappointed is in the insulation. They are not as insulated as the originals from the 90's. So far they have kept my feet dry, but my feet get cold easier even when wearing boot socks. Are there better alternatives? I don't know. I have a feeling that similar products from companies like Merrell will probably be no more insulated than these, but I have no experience with other companies. My experience with the Salomon brand is that they make a durable product. I still think these will hold up well over time.

Tight over bridge of foot
I had a pair of Salomen snow clogs that I had for years and loved so I bought these. The new ones have good style and the footbed is comfortable, however whereas the older clogs had a large elastic piece over the top to allow for expansion, the new ones only have a small amount so it is painful to wear them for extended periods. I don’t have a high arch so that isn’t the problem.

have a secure tread on snow and ice and comfortable. I often walk 6+ miles a day in ...
These replaced an older version that was finally ready to be retired. Living in Minnesota, I slip these on several times a day to take the dog out. They are warm, have a secure tread on snow and ice and comfortable. I often walk 6+ miles a day in them in the winter.

The return of the Snow Clog!
My wife and I got the original Solomon snow clogs years ago. I wore mine out after many winter seasons, my wife still has hers but then again she has a lot of shoes to spread out the wear. Snow clogs were a great idea for those in winter climates when you don't need a full boot but just need to let the dog out, grab some wood for the fire or fetch the newspaper. The originals featured a slip on design, wide and deep soles for surefooted traction. The design has changed a bit on the new ones but they have the same basic features. Easy to put one without hands, just twist your foot back and forth a few times and good traction on the bottom. The fit felt snug but I'm sure they'll loosen up a bit as they are worn. You do kind of want a snug fit anyway since there is no way to tighten them up i.e. no laces.Glad to find these shoes again.

They look great with blue jeans as well
These are so comfy that I'm waiting for a sale on the brown ones. They look great with blue jeans as well, and they're perfect for walking around the house, getting the mail, or town-walking on snowy city sidewalks and streets. Perfect when you don't want to wear boots all the time.

Great shoes, half size too narrow
As others have stated, Salomon seems to have changed their sizing in the last year or so. I’ve had at least five pairs of Salomons before these. I ordered the same size I always get and they were a bit tight on the sides. Just a bit more narrow than usual. Just something to be aware of. Length was fine, true to size. I’ve now switched a half size up in Salomons and that seems to work fine for me. Other than being a bit narrow, the quality is great and these, like all Salomons I’ve owned, are great shoes. They’ve held up well.

otherwise they are very nice winter clogs
On the narrow side of the fit, otherwise they are very nice winter clogs. I will buy again, just wish they came in a wider option, I stretched them by soaking them in water then used shoe trees cranked wide and let them slowly dry over a couple of days. this helped and they broke in to a good fit. Traction is good on snow and fair on ice. My feet stayed warm even on 5 degree days,,, didn't go sub zero.

Extreme Quality Shoes!
Now these shoes are nice! Very snug fitting but not uncomfortable, and I'm sure they'll loosen up a little as I break them in. There isn't much in this item's description so I did some research and found that these shoes are also waterproof/resistant and they look extremely cool. And the tread is awesome! It sounds like you're wearing boots when you walk on a hardwood floor but they look like sneakers. I bought these for all-the-time wearing, not for winter, and you can't beat the price! A+++++!

Comfort is great; Does not Grip
Shoe quality is high. Good looking and fits very well. Supportive to flat feet. Warm. Unfortunately, I've docked two stars as the shoe does not grip on hard pack snow and ice as well as other brands that I've had in the past (Merrell and North Face in particular). Given the design and intent of the shoes for winter wear, I've deducted two stars. I do not have a lot of confidence using these in such conditions and have slid (almost falling) a few times wearing these in the snow/ice!

Sticks to Ice
I had a pair of Salomon winter shoes like these years ago, and they were the best on ice. Took years to wear them out. These new ones fit great, slip on/off, and stick to ice very well. BUT a little slippery on frost on the wood deck, just beware of that.

Me gustan porque se sienten como tenis pero parecen zapatos, de manera que los puedo usar en la oficina sin que se vea tan informal
