Not sure this product was supposed to activate due to nearby motion. Mine does not. But it does work great with sound detection. The witch frequently speaks out if several guests are talking. Good addition to any Halloween interior decor. I doubt this would last long if placed outside.

My only complaint about this item is the hair, other than that great buy! Motion sensor worked all the way from my balcony which made it even scarier for anyone passing. The quality of the face, lighting, sounds all great!

The things that I didn't like about this witch is, I had a difficult time getting the screw out to install the batteries, so its now stripped.. I used black marker to color her nails, as she didn't look right her nails not being colored. You have to listen closely at what she's saying, but who cares she's got that witches laugh. The most important thing she's suppose to be motion or sound activated, well I have to hit her or clap really loud, and those two things sometimes doesn't work. Maybe I should of gave 3 stars, but I'm happy to have any witch, and the price was right! Love that she folds up for storage.

This arrived fine and in good condition. The quality is reflective of the low price, but it does work! (Mine did anyway :) ) Do yourself a favor and read about the battery compartment. Mine arrived with the fabric glued to the lid so it couldn't be opened. I had read about the non-standard screw holding the lid on, so didn't waste time. I used pliers to force it off carefully, put the batteries in, then duct tape the cover back on. Works fine!

My witch did not come with the hair as pictured. It came with two thin clumps of cotton on each side..thats it? What you call that hair? The face was distorted but not as pictured. One side was not glued properly so it sticks out. Her hat does not look like a hat, but more like a shower cap. Save your money ... dont buy!!!! if only I can get my money back.... ;(

Love her face, especially the spooky eyes. Only problem we have is that its fairly hard to get her to make any noise or cackle. She doesn't respond to clapping hands or voice, you have to actually shake her.

Jury’s still out after day 1. It broke and we fixed it like 6 times. When it works it’s cool (my toddler loves it!). This is not motion activated like the description says. We have to literally jerk the witch around for her to turn on. I highly doubt this thing will last year after year like I’d planned.

Cute but came with 1 finger broken didn't feel like returning it I may need to order another one for next year. This is good for just 1 yr for me.
