I herniated C-4 in a car accident years ago. It never healed and I have degenerative disc disease and chronic neck pain now. The only thing that really helps is traction. In physical therapy, they would do it by hand, and it was the best part of the appointments. I have spent years buying gadgets to mimick that, and this is as close as I have come! It is very simple to use, just put the stretchy strap on the outside of a door knob and shut the door, then adjust the velcro pillows and velcro heat/cooling pillow to your liking, rest your head in the sling created by straps and actual piece to hold your head, and when you rest, your body weight will gently give traction as your neck is fully supported and stable, and slowly stretches with your body. It relieves the pressure on pinched nerves, adds space between the vertebra, and when you lose that valuable cushion in between each vertebra, being able to put a little distance between practically bone on bone friction is heavenly. Unlike the ones I've tried before that you pump up cushions around your neck that stretch your neck up, this doesnt feel like it was choking me at the same time! I definitely recommend it for those looking for something to help provide some traction who doesnt want to hang from the tops of doors or put inflatable rafts around your neck! It seems to be the least invasive and most effective I've tried! I love this thing!

I really think this works with the pain.. After first use, my neck was a little sore, but then I noticed an improvement after each use. I have arthritis in my neck and this helps!

The bead bag popped once i put in microwave for 10 sec...i had to gather all of them and put in zip lock..Not good...

The product was received as described so there's no problem there. It's just really uncomfortable and awkward to use. I used it a couple of times and found it really uncomfortable and didn't notice any improvement in my neck and shoulder pain.

Have only used it once but I can already tell after standing up it will become routine. The priciple behind it is simple and it relieves the tension built up by the muscles supporting your head/neck. The horizontal version of an inversion table; Hoping it keeps the nerve pain and spine decompressed for years to come. The quality of this one is superb as well.

Head slides and had no feelings of traction

I've been in physical therapy for about 12 weeks now for a bone spur and a bulging disk. My physical therapist recommended the $300+ cervical neck traction device, but unfortunately that wasn't in my budget at the time. My back surgeon actually recommended this and told me that it's what he uses at home. I figured if a surgeon that could afford to purchase any contraption used this, it was good enough for me! If I don't use this every day, I end up in pain. After I use this my neck loosens up, cracks, and pops like crazy. It has helped me more that the 12 weeks of physical therapy. I'm still going to need surgery, but this device has been wonderful in helping with my neck pain until I can hopefully get a permanent fix. It is a bit tricky to get set up but once I'm in I close my eyes and relax. If you experience neck pain, I would definitely recommend trying this.

I was skeptical at first but I am so glad I bought this! It’s well made-easy to use-comfortable and helped my neck and back pain! I have neck spasms from a car accident and carpal tunnel-I highly recommend this to anyone with neck and shoulder issues!
