Double Car Garage Door Stop Sides and Top 2 Inch Weather Seal Any Size All Color (Brown)

The product perfectly fit to replace the older, cracked sides of my garage. The top is still in good shape and we have the longer of the two pieces for that when necessary. This is very high quality plastic for 'nailing' into the wood side of the garage, the rubber seems like it will last too. You really, really, REALLY want to use a drill to start a small hole prior to nailing in the nails to secure the unit. Do not just place a nail into position and start nailing it into the wood; big mistake. Measure twice, cut once (a large trimming shear worked for us), start at the top with one hole screwed as a starter, work your way down. The color we picked (Brown) looks great, the door opens and closes perfectly after install which took maybe 30 minutes. DO examine which side goes in and out before screwing/nailing! The edge of the hard plastic should exactly butt into the wood like the older seal, then you're good to go.There are lesser expensive products that use sticky stuff; get this instead and do use nails with pre drilled holes and you're set for (hopefully) years of use. We are in the high desert and the sun is brutal, our original seals lasted 10 years. I expect these will last as long.

I predrilled the nail holes, really helped with overhead hammering. Used metal shears to cut, pretty tough plastic.

The description says "18 foot piece, 16 foot piece". Mine came with a 14' piece and a 12.5' piece. NOT enough for a 2 car garage.

Comes coiled in a box for shipping and in colder weather it is pretty stiff. Uncoil it and put it in the sun for a while to make it straighten out and get more flexible. I used a heat gun on a couple spots to straighten the ends. Also, it doesn't have holes, so it helps to pre-drill some. It comes with a bag of nails, but I used #8 exterior screws. (They look like drywall screws but have a coating for use outside.)

I feel the cost of this item is too high, but other than that i have no major complaints. Every was as advertised. The package though came with all the nails laying loose inside the box from a bag that had no seal. The trim came in two pieces, 16' and 18' lengths enough to do my 16' double wide garage door. I cut the pieces to length with no issues and predrilled all the holes. Installation went smoothly.

Just as described and plenty to cover a double car garage door. It would’ve been nice to have screws instead of nails and to have predrilled holes.
