Not what I expected , just not top quality at all

I pretty much hate this air purifier. It looks well enough but it can't hold a charge...at all. Like, not more than a few minutes in the beginning. Within the first week of owning it, it shuts off as soon as I unplug it from the charger.The bottom that is supposed to hold in the filter pops off constantly for no apparent reason, so the filter just comes right out while trying to use it.The purifier doesn't fit in any of the 3 sizes of cup holders that I have in my car. When I try to use the converter piece that attaches to the bottom to make it fit smaller cup holders, it's not only too small now to be secure, but since the converter piece has virtually no weight to it, it's now top heavy so it tips over, which is all it needs to pop off the base, rolling around the car and dumping the filter out somewhere where both are impossible to retrieve while driving.It's no better at home or anywhere else because although I don't have to deal with a cup holder and I can keep it plugged in (although that defeats the purpose of a portable device), it still pops off the base. It's practically unusable.The motor seems to run okay and presumably it's filtering the air, but who knows? I can't ever use it long enough to tell a difference, even in the small space of my car.And as for the indicator light that supposedly turns red, orange, or green depending on air quality, it does change color but apparently randomly. It will start off green when I first get into my car, then for no apparent reason (windows up, no outside air coming into the vehicle), turns red after it has been running a while. So the air is either getting less clean while running this inside a very small space or the indicator light (like the rest of the design) is faulty.Basically, every single feature of this device is broken on some level. Every reason anyone would own a portable, car-compatible air purifier is rendered null and void with this thing.For this price for such a small device, I expected much, much better. I bought the black/silver one. Save your money. This is garbage. This might be the most negative review I have ever had to write.

The product works great until you want to change the filter. I was unable to locate a replacement filter online, so I emailed Autowit directly. They wrote back and said: "We are glad to help but so sorry that this product has out of stock for a long time. Could you please find some similar filter if the size is fit the machine?" If you are looking for an air filter where you can actually change out the filter, I would recommend going with another product.
