Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Excellent Product! I replaced my two old dash cams with this and never looked back. This supports upto 128GB while my old ones only supports upto 32GB. I used the rear mirror camera view almost all the time. When turned off, the standard mirror has somewhat anti-glare coating which reduces bright lights. I uploaded a video on how easy to use the UI and some sample recordings for both front and rear camera.

I have been looking for a mirror-attached dashcam a few months ago. Because I needed a camera for rear parking and a record for unexpected events. VanTop dashcam can be purchased at a reasonable price while providing the camera and full screen I want.(Most other products offer picture quality that is difficult to see on-screen on dazzling days and difficult to recognize license plates at night or is expensive)The product is also very slim, so it's not awkward for my Chey Cruze. Installing it is very simple, and connecting the rear light trigger can be difficult for beginners, but simpler than other products because you only need to connect the plus wire without the minus wire. Just find and connect the rear light plus wire.But when I lower the sun visor of my Cruze, it touches the camera protrusions, so I need to make some adjustments. And while the rear parking guideline doesn't fit my car, it's not a big problem for me. Because I need a rearview camera to identify the hazards when I move or park my car. For developers, I hope that the next product will be updated with the ability to calibrate parking guidelines for the user's vehicle.I highly recommend this product to those around me. If you buy this too, you won't regret it.

First and Foremost, awesome amazon delivery. Product was delivered the next day, packed very nicely.It took us almost 2 hrs to install the camera.Pros1) 2.5 K camera quality. Front Camera clarity is better than Back Camera.2) Length of wire is enough, I had to roll up the extra wire.3) Night Vision version is awesome and it activates as soon camera detects no light on street4) Back Camera reduce the blind spot5) Functions are awesome and very easy to use.6) Backup camera needs to be wired to backlight assist you with parking.7) 10-inch screen which is perfect for the rearview.8) Front and Back camera can be adjusted up and down from screen for a better view.ConsI really don't think of any other than Micro SD card is not provided.SuggestionsInstall it above license plate for better viewingUse Class 10 or above Micro SD card for recording.Though it reduces the blind spot but blind spot check is still suggested while driving

The image is extremely crisp for both front and rear cameras. Very quick and easy installation. Easy to set up and work through the menus. A couple of suggestions for newer versions:1.- longer cable for rear camera. I installed mine on a 4dr jeep wrangler and I was about 2.5 ft short. I ran it along the windshield and under the carpet all the way out to the 3rd break light on top of the spare tire.2.- Stronger attachment to rear view mirror. It could be that my jeeps original rear view mirror is smaller than most newer cars since there are no electronics in it but the VanTop is a little heavy for it and vibrates a bit.Overall extremely happy with this product8/4/2020 I still believe the product is great but the only thing that has begun to happen over the last month is that the screen dims/darkens suddenly and intermittently. Has anyone else experienced this?9/14/20205 months after purchase and already not working... It has been raining for the last few days and now there is so much condensation inside the camera that it has rendered it useless. Trying to contact someone for support.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a great addition to your car. The resolution is great. I installed it in the rear trim to give a more factory look. The backup camera at night is very nice and bright versus looking through the back window or side mirrors. The touch screen is sensitive enough. The wide view is also very nice. When in reverse you can zoom and it seems to tilt down a little more each step. Only real thing I do not like is when the mirror is “sleeping” it has a ghosted view when using it like a regular mirror. If possible some added features to the menu would be to have a default view at turn on instead of the split view and a shorter time for the sleep mode.

I paid $180AUD for the unit, then another $300AUD to have it professionally installed by an auto electrician, including adding a new internal 12V socket to power it. I'd recommend checking how much installation would cost before buying as my total cost was $480, and for only $530 total I could have had the Vantop H612T which is an upgrade on this unit and isn't significantly more in the scheme of things.Although dash cam functionality was nice I primarily purchased this because I wanted a digital mirror - in particular I wanted the ability to see clearly behind me when the boot of my Subaru Forester was completely loaded with camping gear. It works pretty well for this and I haven't identified a better product, but there is a clear difference in the camera quality between front and rear, particularly in low-light situations. Given that my primary use is as a rear view mirror, I'd love for this to be reversed, or for both cameras to be of the same quality. As far as I can tell upgrading to the H612T doesn't solve this.

Searching through all the options for Rear View Camera Mirrors on Amazon was so difficult. It looked like everything was the same with different branding and prices, but I think I found one that was a head above the rest. The Vantop cameras are really high quality and the touch screen is really responsive. I love how swiping on different parts of the screen gives access to different functions, like changing the field of view, brightness, or camera arrangement. The reflective surface functions great as just a mirror on its own, but the screen is still bright enough to show me what the camera sees in bright daylight.I was concerned at first that I wouldn't be able to adjust the angle of the front camera without adjusting the mirror, compromising my viewing angle. But I was happy to find the front camera is on an adjustable ball head, so I can adjust the camera without changing the mirror position.If you are considering this system, note that this is NOT meant to be a back-up camera. It works great as a rear-view mirror camera, but the field of view is not wide enough to replace a back-up camera. I still rely on my factory installed back-up camera when reversing as it gives me a full wide view of what's directly behind me.There were a couple things I modified to make the camera more to more liking:1. I didn't like the VanTop branding that was so obvious when you pull out the front-facing camera, so I taped it off and spray painted it.2. Unfortunately, the camera mount is ONLY good for under mounting, and seeing as my application only allowed for top mounting I had to custom make a plate that allows it to work.3. I had to buy an extension cable to make the camera reach all the way to the back of my Ram Promaster 3500 EXT. It *almost* reached on its own, but my long van is just a bit too big. To find the extension I used, search "Dash Cam Rearview Backup Camera Extension Cord2.5mm 4 Pin 9.8 Ft Male to Female Car Driving Recorder Reverse Camera Extension Cable by YQMAJIM".Highly recommend!

4.5 Star rating. I agree with all the other positive reviews and will not repeat their comments. I bought this dash camera for $120CDN. Great value for a quality product.I will mention nit-picking items... The night visibility (live view) is great, too much so, that at times the headlights will at times glare (over bright) which washes out the rest of the screen view. Sometimes it works perfectly and the night view looks perfect even with headlights in the rear. Not sure if this is an auto detect issue or AI programming determination issue. I have not viewed the recordings on computer to see if the actual recordings have the same over glaring headlight issue.I wanted recordings while the car was off, so I bought and installed the auxiliary power cables/fuse. Well, because of Covid, I now work from home and did not use my car for 6 days; it KILLED my car battery (battery is only a year old) . So now I manually turn the mirror off when I park at home so it does not record continuously while the car is parked. Fortunately, it is smart enough to know when I start the car and the mirror turns on automatically ; no idea how it knows because it has power all the time. Perhaps because I changed the Park Setting Sensitivity to the Highest detection.The mirror mounts on top of existing rear view mirror but there is an annoying audible rubbing squeak (on the saved recordings) that is heard clearly when you view them on your PC computer. Even though the elastic straps are really tight, the whole mirror vibrates due to the heaviness of it. I believe this can be fixed with some kind of quiet material between this mirror and your existing mirror.The front camera is on a ball head that is extremely difficult to move. This is good, because it will not accidentally move on you. Do not worry too much about adjusting the vertical view because you can do that with the mirrors adjustable vertical field of view.Note of caution, choose the locating of your rear camera carefully. Do not mount it right over your exhaust pipe! In winter, the exhaust will float right into your view and obstruct it!I ran the wire for the rear camera through my tail light assembly; by loosening the assembly and running the wire through the lower part of the tail light assembly to reduce chance of rain to drip past and into the trunk.I originally bought this to replace my car's broken rear view camera! However I find the display view on my mirror is too small for backing up. Perhaps I am too used to the car's huge display monitor). I ended up replacing my car's back up camera.It is great that this mirror is capable of accepting a 128GB flash card. Due to the high resolution, you need this extra memory space.A CON, to the memory card is the location. I am forced to tilt and move my mirror to access and remove the card to transfer the videos to my PC. A better design would have been to have the insertion on the right side or even the left side of the mirror. Hence a 12" display instead of 10" would be optimum and completely cover my car's mirror.I do wish it had GSP built in, therefore it would have vehicle speed/trip history, etc. If they ever come out with a model that has it, I would jump at getting it. A direct swap out with the same power and rear connections would be perfect; eliminating the need to reinstall everything when upgrading.

Great product, I Had reviewed a lot of Mirror Dash Cams and decided to go is this one. I happy to say I'm liking it so far and WILL update as the weeks and months come along the way. The rubber straps come the stronger even though I used 2 but it shakes a bit. Maybe I need to put some small foam behind it. The wiring was very straight forward. 👌 It would have bee. nice to zoom in and out when your in either front or rear view cam.

After many similar items looked on Amazon,I finally chose the VanTop H610.You receive it in a beautiful case with inside a very useful plastic trim remover, instructions, power cable and also some double side tape for the rear camera mount bracket if you do not feel sure about drilling holes.The quality of the product compare to the one I had before is a lot better and it also has a lot of functions, for example you can choose front or rear or both views at the same time on the display just with one touch.Installation is also pretty straightforward with the manual.It took me around 5 hours in my Opel Astra wagon (better run the cable from the rear camera to the mirror under the roof liner in a straight line because running under the side trims the wire is not enough to cover the distance in a long wagon car.Overall very satisfied and I am sure it will be also very reliable.
