I find this exceptionally easy and reliable, and it does work well to keep red wine fresh for more than just one day. Great price and does what it says without fuss or tons of instructions.For the people for whom it didn't work, more likely they just got a bad unit and should return for a replacement.

I find that this preserves my wine for about a day. Day two wine is not as fresh, but still okay. After using this for a bit, I "leveled up" to an argon gas wine preserver (those run about $150). I can get about four weeks with my upgrade. So, the vacuum is a great place to start.

Well-priced, easy to operate, and does what it's supposed to. No apps, no cords, no USB connectors. I've used VacuVin products for decades perhaps? Easily portable, no reason to leave it behind when traveling. No need to waste wine if you're not into drinking more than a glass with dinner. The pump and stoppers last for years. No downsides!

I replaced an aging Vacu Vin pump used regularly for both cannisters and wine bottles. The pump "squeaked" when pulled ... some of the internal plastic parts had evidently worn down and were rubbing against each other. This new pump is quiet and works really well with half the effort.

I’m no connoisseur and a bottle of wine can last 3-4 days. And yes, I know my wine goes bad with just the cork. I can taste the difference now - wine as fresh as the day I uncorked the bottle. No air gaps, tight fit and no wine leaks when I lay the bottle down to fit back in the rack.

This wine accessory was a Xmas gift for my Husband, I have bought him all sorts for his love of wine and has treated them with care. So, this time I thought I would get him something that he hasn't got. As I can't drink any kind of alcohol, I only have his thoughts on this item. Some wine's don't last if it has been opened two day's or more ( whatever you pay for it ) so this handy wine pump is a great addition, and it is easy to use and work's very well. My Husband even tested it to see if it did actually do the job!! After the test, he said that the pump work's brilliantly even after four day's. Naturally he is very pleased. You can also buy different makes and prices, but don't go for an exspensive one right away, just see whats on offer, probably too many to choose from so you could need some advice on which is better for your needs.
