Didn't work at first, then worked great!
Easy to install, went right in with no problem. But when I started it I ran into lots of problems. It would not link to my home's wifi system no matter how much I tried. And yes, I know all about how to do it. I'm not a beginner at PCs - I've been using them since 1984.So I didn't know what the problems was, and I didn't want to fool with it - so I just left it in there. I had a USB wireless dongle that I was then using to connect to my home's wifi, so I had to be happy with that - though every few months, I would still try. Finally my dongle USB wireless went bad. It just died (right after the one year warranty date passed). And since this wasn't linking in, I went out to buy a new adapter. I ended up buying an expensive one - an $80 NETGEAR one that had all the bells and whistles - and again, this was a USB Adaptor for wireless. Well I connected that one, set it all up. and that one gave me problems now and then - it wouldn't keep its connections no matter what I would do.Now all this time, this Rosewell Adaptor would also appear in my wifi settings (even though I had disabled it). So one day I turned it on once again. The next time my PC booted, Instead of going to the new Netgear device, I was able to connect through the Rosewill adaptor. Got a really good connection too.I thought it was a fluke, but it kept happening. So I disconnected the new Netgear one and left the Rosewill one on. And guess what - it now worked perfectly! So I don't know why I had problems in the beginning. My System's settings were correct, it was connected properly, but it still would not work. Now it does. I'm happy. But next week I have to take out that card - I have a PCI-e USB 3.0 adaptor card I need to install - and unfortunately, I may have to unlink this adaptor. If that happens, I'll have to go back to the other adaptor and let you all know that happens.

This works, please read.
I ended up returning this a few weeks ago and did not realize it probably works great, especially for the low price. When I returned it, I stated " This should work with my Intel motherboard, I tried drivers that were included and drivers I found online, none worked and allowed my Computer to recognize it "It was my fault, pretty much! I usually go through the bios, well used to when I built computers or purchased a used setup. This particular time I did not even THINK to check the BIOS settings. The past owner/factory, turned the other PCI-E slots off and only had the 16x Slot active for the Video Card.Long story short, if you cannot get this wifi card to recognize, try checking the bios settings! You can search how to enter the bios settings or have someone that's know computers, check that for you. Pretty simple process thouh, it is usually pressing 'Del' or 'f10, etc. You press 1 button, each manufacturer may be different. It is while the computer boots up,press a certain key and it takes you into a new Menu, where you can change settings.

Lasted a few months, to get it replaced under warranty required I buy a new card
The card worked fine for about 4 months. At that point 5ghz stopped working. To troubleshoot I...-Tested 2 other devices on the 5ghz network at the same location to confirm it wasn't my router-Reinstalled the drivers of the wifi card-Reinstalled Windows 7-Reseated the card and its antennasI figured no big deal, I'll just have it replaced under warranty. Rosewill said I must send the card in, it will take 3-5 days to process, and then they'll ship me a replacement. I asked what I was supposed to do for internet in the mean time and they said I would either need to buy a ethernet cable or buy a new wifi card.So my options are...1) Spend $30 on an ethernet cable long enough to be wired along the wall, $7 on shipping. All for a $30 wifi card.2) Spend $30 on a wifi card, $7 on shipping. All for a $30 wifi card. Bonus: Have extra wifi card for when it breaks in 4 months.3) Buy a new Wifi card for $30. Bonus: Save money on $7 warranty shipping. Most normal companies ship you a replacement and then you return the broken product in the same box. Guess they bank on you picking option #3 (and hopefully rebuying their product) instead of going through with the warranty.

Still Works Great After 10 Years...
It still works well and has good reception and speed after over 10 years of use. However it is easy for the antennas to fall off the small plastic bases that screw into the antenna receptacle socket on the PCIe slot cover. I just reconnect them and then use tape to hold them in place.
